I still think Cohen needs to go back to Napier and tell him to name his price. Too much at risk to hire some glorified coordinator.

Moorhead was the first casualty of Kiffin, and Kiffin hasn’t even coached a game yet

I wouldn’t jump off the ledge just yet. Look at LSU’s last coaching hire. Les carried off the field just to be kept for next year and fired in the middle of the season, then Herman going to UT and LSU hiring coach O. 1/2 of our fanbase were ready to jump off a bridge. Look how that turned out. Now, Moo U is far from LSU, but who knows what coach will take the job, or if it will work out.

Honestly never should have been opened to him. I never could quite understand why they made him Athletic Director in the first place. It's like USC and State made the move to hire their baseball coach because it happened to work out okay at LSU with Bertman.

I’m going to drown myself in a bottle of makers mark and watch the 2014 MSU Auburn game on loop

ETA and play Brighter Days by Mofro in the background

That’s why I wanted Joe Judge because he is die hard MSU and similar to O. Unproven position coach but a lot of passion

The Judge Buzz had already cranked up. Cohen then realized he played scout team at MSU and almost made an asinine hire for a career ST coach who would have had to take a test before recruiting his first player. You should feel lucky

That punch was a symptom of a greater locker room problem.
After reading the State boards this past week I'm sorry but I don't believe any of you motherfrickers when it comes to anything.

I just know you're absolutely fricked for the forseeable future.

What a clusterfrick and he just guaranteed we return to mid 2000s level of suck.

I was all for firing Moorhead but if you’re gonna do it then be damn sure you have someone better waiting. Otherwise wait until next year, take our 1 shitty season and find a good hire. Now we will get 5-6 shite years at least.

frick him. Completely incompetent, run his arse out of town too

bullshite. It has only been 3 1/2 days since Moorhead was fired.

Just because fans are wildly speculating doesn't mean that the search is out of control. He's not guessing along with us. Just because you really want to know who the coach will be doesn't mean that Cohen should hire just whoever he can by Tuesday lunch.

It has been AT LEAST 12 days since Shrader and Gay fought (the alleged last straw), so if Cohen's to be trusted the decision was functionally made ~9 days before the announcement.

It's out of control baw. Embrace it.

Pretty bad timing, and it seems like a last minute decision.
