What a clusterfrick and he just guaranteed we return to mid 2000s level of suck.
I was all for firing Moorhead but if you’re gonna do it then be damn sure you have someone better waiting. Otherwise wait until next year, take our 1 shitty season and find a good hire. Now we will get 5-6 shite years at least.
frick him. Completely incompetent, run his arse out of town too

I can’t keep up with all the threads and I really haven’t been paying attention, but who is it between as of this moment?

Promote a position coach from within, then have him promote another position coach to be OC. Worked for us...

God I am enjoying this sooooo much.

All because a Mullen recruit on his way out of the program punched a Moorhead recruit.
He's been a clown at every step of the way. If State is smart they will fire him before a coach is selected. Get a firm to run an expedited search process and they can have someone hired by end of next week. But at this point there's no reason to allow Cohen to be involved in the selection.

There was more too it than that. That punch was a symptom of a greater locker room problem.

It’s been like 5 days. It’s okay. One of our top two guys who nobody heard of last week just became the coach of the New York Giants. Seems like he had a pretty good list to start with.

Just hire Mark Richt to regain control and be done with it.

Very true. If he saw the value in Joe Judge before all the message board heroes then he must be doing something right.

The Devil you know is always better than the devil you don't.
With Moorhead, you new the devil. He was learning the SEC and how to coach in it. You asked the devil to make changes, the devil agreed. You knew that devil could recruit.
You risked everything on emotions and a shot at making a better hire. The worst it was going to be was 6-6 with the hope that he learned enough to move forward, with a good to great recruiting class and if not, a better field of candidates.
Cohen allowed himself to be pushed around.

You mean Gay... he's gone. He would have never stepped foot back on the team even if Moorhead stayed.

Racial tensions is what I have been told. Started when KT wasn't made the starter in favor of the white QB.

Idk exactly what it was, but I do know that Moorhead needed to be gone because they couldn’t let the locker room and culture rot another year.

He did, but we are striking out on all of them
A list don’t mean shite. I can write a list of great coaching candidates but doesn’t mean they’d come to MSU

Rumor started by the same people. By any means necessary is what they are about.
I was told today that they were doxxing people a few years back to "get even" with posters on their site for challenging them. Got sued.

Well it seems like things are going MUCH better now.

This is why rising expectations are dangerous. It doesn't take long for the fan's expectations to outpace reality and then the end result is chaos.
When Arky fired Bert it was the same situation.
