Time to break away from NCAA boys ...

It's been time. We have plenty of brand powers in football and basketball in the SEC to stand independently. Even better We get the ACC and ND on board we form our own league. We can also dissolve the BIG12 between the two leagues to an. SEC vs ACC setup
In football you would have every major football brand outside USC Michigan Ohio St Penn St.
In basketball you would have the blue bloods Kansas Duke UNC Kentucky ...
To heck with the NCAA and these other conferences .
I for one would be stoked for that kind of setup.

Nah,they still controlled and negotiate d the TV contracts up until the mid 80's.
EVERY P5 school owes UGA and OU a debt of gratitude for suing the NCAA and getting those TV rights away from them.
