You give WAAAAY too much credit to the opinion of the sidewalk Alabama fans. I don't give a flying trick what they think about academics in this state. Auburn is a damn good school academically and a strength and major asset to the State of Alabama.
It blows my mind how much Auburn fans let the sidewalk rube and redneck Alabama fans piss them off. The only thing I can figure is that the Auburn fans who lose their sh## over sidewalk Alabama fans don't have any friends or acquaintances who actually graduated from Alabama. I grew up in a very strong Auburn area and most of my closest friends ended up going to Auburn so it's funny to me to see so many Auburn fans have an elitist attitude towards Alabama fans.

Then there are those Bammer Alumni that refer to UA in their most southern aristocratic accent as "The University" or Auburn as that "Cow College". When I hear that I want to ask what fricking University are you talking about and quit talking like that because I know you are from Cullman.

He's already hinted at ITAT in this thread and how mad it made him. His chastising auburn is this thread has been quite hypocritical

I looked at ITAT once to see the reaction to the Evans announcement and otherwise haven't been on there since the middle of the football season. As for where I read the rant about how much Alabama's accounting program sucks wasn't even on an Auburn site. It was from an Auburn fan on someone else's board.

I think Auburn will be a stronger academically when Auburn Medical School opens up in 2015.

Medical schools produce tremendous research money. So there is that. I think UA doesn't have one b/c of UAB. (UGA doesn't have one either
