Idk what academic profile is nor do I know how Emory or tufts scored higher than Berkeley but these seem to rely on volume which maybe they have more of. Berkeley may have the best paper but others may have more good papers

Thats bullshite. A&M is good at the things that matter (engineering, business, architecture, agriculture, training military leaders, etc.). We are weeding out the woke crap that started seeping into our school much later than most others. We will continue to do well in the rankings that matter and continue to suffer in those that do not ( this one for example).

Hey baw as an engineer and business double major who did both undergrad and masters at A&M, you may want to check our rankings for those recently. Our business school used to be close to tier 2 but now firmly mid 3s. Engineering ain’t much either especially since petro is no longer the field it used to be.

I think LSU and Alabama will take all of their National Championship trophies over being ranked on this list.

Imaging, ranking universities in academics, I’m not sure what this world is coming to? (Unless the school you root for is crap in academics)

It’s not Alabama or LSzus fault they aren’t ranked. They only ranked first 1000.

Tennessee and Kentucky surprised me on this list. Everybody else seemed about right except for maybe A&M being as low as it was.
Tennessee has worked hard to improve its rankings. A kid in Tennessee can't just walk into Knoxville anymore.
That said, I'm not impressed much by these rankings. Sure, you'll find more highly regarded faculty at some of the highest rated schools, but most undergrads will never see those faculty unless they reach higher level classes as a major in a department. The average student will be taught history, science and math by GA's or Assistant Professors that haven't published yet.

The bottom line is this, if your kid goes to any SEC school other than Vandy, UF, Texas or Georgia, you failed as a parent. You should invest that tuition money for your retarded kid instead of wasting it at a joke university.
There are so many flaws in this argument I can't imagine anyone that actually went to Texas would make it. Elitism is a sign of a flawed education and of being a deeply flawed human being.

Then why is Bama's woke factory not ranked.
