It works because Arkansas is the best. Period.
It's our culture. We are crazy. We wear that shite like a badge of honor. Go back and look at every good western ever made. There is always at least one crazy motherfricker from Arkansas in the story.
So when it comes to talking sports, we don't care that our team isn't any good. We still maintain we are the frickin best. Always. These other fanbases that don't have good teams just don't go as hard in the paint as we do because they have a more pussified culture.
