Malzahn at Auburn Bielema at Arkansas Charlie Strong at UT if he gets the job. I would say Charlie Strong, assuming he were to land that job.

Proves yet again, that despite a minor blip on the sonar this season, the Flagship is still Big Six while Tennessee and Auburn are has beens.

We truely are the winningest offseason program in the history of the sport. We land a proven head coach who should be a great hire....Also should be noted I think we all know where Gus's dream job is. If he works out for Auburn and BB fails for us then the Gus Bus is rolling back to fayetteville

Arkansas - Back to Back Hires As We Said by Sunhog

Coach BB left a well established Wisconsin program to come to Arkansas for the better recruiting, money, stadium expansion and brand new football complex. Jeff Long is a badass and there isn't another way to put it. We literally went up and stole a coach who was consistently returning to the Rose bowl three years running. TD said Arkansas cannot and will not hire back to back BCS successful coaches, fail. He knows exactly what he is getting into as Wisconsin had no recruiting base, reference the map, but had to compete against Michigan, Nebraska, Ohio State and Penn State for recruiting. He must be on cloud nine knowing he is going to compete in the SEC, make more money, brand new facilities, stadium upgrade and better recruiting base. :razorback: Great days are upon on Hog fans! WPS! Arkansas money was better than Tennessee and Auburn's tradition.

Bret Bielema is fixing drop anchor right in the middle of the SEC. He has been told hire whomever you want and he is fixing put together the best coaching staff in the SEC. Its your choice either get out of way or get crushed by the anchor as it falls.

We went from RBU with McFadden, Jones, and Hillis, to QBU with Mallett and Wilson under Petrino. Since Montee Ball won the Doak Walker Award tonight under the tutelage of CBMFB, do we turn into RBU again? I think so

Auburn again tries to emulate Bama by hiring native Arkansans as HC

In closing I think Roadgator summed it up well back in 2012:
BONUS UNRELATED: Tennessee hires Butch Jones
quote:
ain't gonna work this man (Malzahn) and this man (Tuberville) are nowhere near the level of this man (Bielema) and can't come close to the success of this man (Broyles) Auburn often imitates, but can never duplicate.

After hearing news of our home run, lots of Aggies down here are scared that they will now take their rightful 4th place spot behind tFlagship and the other two decent teams in the West. It is cracking me up that they are so fickle and truly realize their mediocrity. A century worth of Flagship beat downs will do that to you.

This bit of information should have been included in your welcome packet from Chicken when you signed up.
-90% of threads started by Arkies are troll threads. The worm looks tasty but don't be fooled.
-Latarian is the king mack daddy Arky troll. He has mastered the art of starting a thread and just sitting back and enjoying his mayhem unfold. No one is better than him at this. His skills are not to be underestimated. He teaches his minions his skills and while they are not nearly as effective they are persistent.
-If Arky hires a coach he will be the best coach ever and Arky will run shiite soon.
-Arkies will "slogan" you to death. Stay patient because they do not give up their slogans easily. Because they live in Arky there's not much to do between meth batches so they have lots of time to think of more slogans. Read your welcome packet again please.

God forbid we fans think we had a good one who just went to three straight bcs bowls. We coulda hired spurrier and have him leave us midseason cause we can't win shite ever.

I should have made my intent clear here.
This is not a "Look-at-how-stupid-Arkansas-fans-are" thread. This is a study of Arkansas sails and generalized rantardedness.
When I read a vintage Latarian post I am not filled with pity for the half-wits of the world, rather, I pine for the old days when Arky posters made this board much more entertaining. The '12-14 Flagship crew was great.

harmonics
Butch Jones new Tennessee head coach
Wow.... Tennessee won't beat Alabama for at least 10 more years.

Good hire, but UT fans will hate it for some reason.
They'll hate it because he's not John Gruden.

On paper Bert is one of the best hires at the time and had that been Bama, LSU, or UGA he'd probably be on his 2nd SEC title.

So was UTk about to hire Strong before Texas slipped in and grabbed him? I don't remember that. I wonder if Strong would have done better at Tennessee than Texas.

This is ridiculous. Bert doesn't think much of Bert or he wouldn't have let his weight get out of control. What successful person on earth looks like Bert looks in the window of time Bert worked at arkie. That comes from within, not because he was at a bad fit for him.
