It would have been accurate if Tebow compared Burrow to the NFL version of himself.

Joe Burrow is not Tua or Baker Mayfield but doesn't have to be. Bama has done fine with so-called game managers who can make plays when they're needed. We joke around about "game-managers" but in the right situation they get the job done. No one can seriously argue that LSU 2018 is not a big improvement over 2017 edition. The biggest reason for that improvement? Burrow. Easily. Now, he certainly isn't a fit at Ohio St but I think Burrow fits LSU pretty well.

Burrow is actually 2 inches taller, has slightly better arm strength, and is a better athlete. Matt could run a little, but Burrow is a very good runner.
He's about 10 lbs lighter than Matt though.
FYI, Matt rushed 100 times for 215 yards the year he started. Joe has already rushed 35 times for 154 yards this year in 5 games.
ETA:
Matt also completed only 56% of his passes, which is about where Burrow is now. I think Burrow will be better than that by the end of the year though. He's just getting acclimated to the team, while Flynn was a 5th year senior in the same program.
Joe is a good bit higher in YPA though and I think will surpass Matt in overall yards by the end of the year.

Why are LSU fans on here so desperately trying to convince us that Jim Barrows is such a great qb? I mean other than not throwing ints and managing to throw for some yards in 4 quarters of play against maybe the worst pass defense in the history of football, he's looked pretty lousy. If he's actually good we will certainly get to know it in the Georgia and bama games
