True, but it happens. Last time I can remember being ignored like this is 2009. People thought we were in for a tumble after a poor finish in 2008 and all those pick sixes.

But we ended up having a pretty decent year. We were in all of the games we lost, but we also won some we probably shouldn't have. We'll see. I think we're a 2-3 loss team this year, just because of the schedule. I'm hoping its 2-loss with a bowl win.

Will lose to UK. Quote me on that. That's my upset special for the year and no, Belle had no influence on this decision.

With TCU/UA/A&M/UF/UGA/OM...2 losses wouldn't be too shabby. Who knows, maybe Coach Cameron can work some magic and we do even better. Can't wait to see.

It's really not that far fetched to think we drop games to LSU and A&M.

Saban is a really good coach, and I think he has developed so much talent, that I don't ever see the massive upset coming at him. Sure he could lose to Kevin or Les, but I think he's too good to ever lose to Bret, Gus, Dan or Hugh.

Its not out of the question. And frankly, its not the offense I'm worried about this year. Good oline, solid backfield (if Hill plays), Mett returns, some new game changers coming in at receiver to compliment our solid top 4.

But the defense....I'm a little worried.

I think we will be pretty good, but not elite. The O will have to step up or it's going to be a tough year, imo.

The Cameron hire isn't quite the same as, say, Pease at UF where they needed some guys. Like you say all the positions are solid with QB being the weakest. Mett doesn't have the mobility (no surprise) nor the pocket presence we hoped for (unfortunately...but still much better than JJ). But Zach does have the arm and can make reads. If Cameron can get him comfortable finding the slots and TE on quick routes, I think we will be fine. I'm afraid the FB spot will be an afterthought...but that's the way it is in most of football anyway.

It's pretty obvious that most people haven't looked at UL any more deeply than the Florida game and Teddy.

They literally squeaked by their entire schedule last season against nothing more than mediocre to bad teams. Seriously, they just as easily could have been a 7-5 or 6-6 team as they were a 10-2 team.

How on earth does a 13-0 A&M team finish behind the weak arsenic schedules of OSU or UL?

Sun Belt teams aren't a high priority.

I missed that. Do you have his actual record predictions for his top 10?

Wow, didn't realize how easy Louisville's schedule is this fall. They should have packaged some tough out of conference games to go with their easy BE schedule. Surely, at the very least, they could have found a made-for-tv Labor Day game to play.

So TAMU has 2 losses but wins the SEC?

That kinda doesn't make sense does it? With the OOC it would mean A&M has two conference losses...which means UA has 2 conference losses.

I wished Brando would have given his record predictions so as to clarify his top 10 thinking.

I don't record it, but I was listening to him on XM, around 10-11 , when he did his release. He said that he figured UoL & OSU would be undefeated , only test would be Michigan. And he thought that A&M would have at least 2 losses, LSU at least 3. UGA would beat Bama in SECCG rematch to take the tide to 2 losses as well.

He's high on Clemson, and he didn't say it but kinda of eluded to he thought they would have trouble with UGA, but run the table afterwords.

he must think that UGA-USC-UF , will round robin it again... UGA beats LSU, LSU takes out UF, and USC stubles against MS ST or ARKY. He didn't say UGA would have 2 losses, but must think a late loss to UF or tech drops them and then beating UA in SECCG gets them up to 5.

In the west, he must think LSU losees to UGA, A&M & UA, BAMA loses to VT or A&M early to get one loss, he thinks Bama wins the west. A&M probably loses to BAMA or Ole Miss and stumbles somewhere else in conference (VANDY,AUBURN,ARKY).
