Des Allemands is the catfish Capitol of the universe. Even in wiki as that

Just better. Still like some Middendorfs.

My grandfather lived across from a farm in Wisner (Franklin Parish)

I will have to try it out.

NJ doesn't understand catfish

They thought they would have a new offense this year with Les.

They thought their overrated RB would win a Heisman.

They thought they could beat Bama this year.

They thought they would get a bigger splash hire than Coach O. That they could outbid Texas.

Therefore I like them predicting a ten win season as they are usually wrong.

8-4 is the ceiling wit O. LSU played 2 quality teams in the 7 games that O coached and he looked lost in both of them. He will make miles look like a genius.

Ok then, how many "quality teams" are we playing next year? Schedule looks pretty favorable.

Seems like a win, as opposed to being just another nobody at LSU
And you're still a nobody. Congratulations.

Ahhh geez...you fricking kittens are insufferable. You will lose about 7 starters on defense and about four on offense. WTF are you smoking?

You will come to the Swamp and leave with a big L stamped on your forehead.

I hope I am incredibly wrong about Orgeron but I don't think the hire will be anything short of disastrous in the medium to long term.

He's going to get way more latitude than he should. He was hired because of the combination of a weak athletic director and an organized media campaign pushed by O's friends.

That combined with the "one of us" and "loves LSU more than anyone" stuff will mean he'll get more time to fail than other, more qualified, candidates receive. Everything about this process was an incredible failure. In fact, there was no actual process. Just incompetence. And Orgeron really hasn't behaved liked he cared about LSU until it became politically relevant. He was dirty as shite up against LSU at USC, Ole Miss, and Tennessee. He wanted to be hired by Syracuse last off season but they didn't take him seriously at all.

Think about that. LSU hired a coach Syracuse wouldn't consider. LSU hired a coach with the worst SEC performance in Ole Miss history. LSU hired a coach on the strength of interim W/L records that result in other coaches being fired. The good part of his record was supposed to be his USC and LSU records. And he lost four of the five games he coached against teams with a pulse (win vs Stanford, losses vs UCLA, Notre Dame, Alabama, and Florida).

All of this can only make you think a major program is taking a very big gamble when the put him in charge of their football program. And that professional resume doesn't even touch on his documented history of domestic violence against a woman in the 90s, him being fired from his Miami job because he head butted a bartender, or what seems to be problems with his temper that continue into at least somewhat recent history. After all, this is the man who reassured Ole Miss those issues were behind him and then whipped off his shirt in his opening day meeting with Ole Miss' players, challenging any one of them to a fight if they thought they could take him.

This stuff sounds like a bad novel and it is now the reality of who heads a college football program with four SEC titles, two NCs and three NC appearances in the last fifteen years.

Very few to none that I know of are thinking that way. For one, the SEC road schedule alone pretty much precludes that. Two, losing 19 seniors alone makes it difficult to keep the depth that is necessary to win in the SEC. But, too, we all know for a fact that the hawgs won't even sniff .500 again in league play.

I'm going to say 8-4 with 9-3 being the ceiling.

I hope they like 8 or maybe 9 wins a year.
