If I remember that game, I think Tebow scored a touchdown and almost got a penalty because he talked so much shite to the student section after that score.

He definitely did. That was the best game I've ever been to.

Remember this little nugget. Saban employs students and give them certain "perks" to basically scour all social media outlets, create screen names and fuel the fire. He's been doing it for years now. They get really fired up the few weeks before signing day. If I'm not mistaken, we had couple of them called out here a few years ago. That's what makes him great. He continues to find ways to motivate his team even through this dominant stretch.

Yeah, I was thinking it happened to several people. Don't misunderstand me.....making phone calls is fairly harmless, just saying that some people look at things as pranks while others look at them more seriously.

Probably. I wouldn't be totally shocked if Putin was in Saban's cell phone contacts list.

I mean, probably pretty close. John Parker got a penalty for sticking his fingers up to his ears like he was talking on the phone if I remember correctly.

Shouldn't have been one in either case. That's the sort of stuff (the calls and then the gestures to the student section) that make SEC football awesome. No harm no foul.

No one on here is surprised. Lsu alums have had a plantation owners mentality when it comes to "their" in-state players.

look at your own gif. The ref didn't seem to care. I remember the play like it was yesterday. He didn't almost get a penalty, whatever that means anyways. He scored, did the phone thing, and jogged off the field like any other TD

But agree it shouldn't be a penalty. Just like Wing's TD vs UF shouldn't have been taunting. I mean, come on. He threw his hands up for a millisecond, and he's the damn punter!

Same thing happened to Tebow in 07. It's mostly harmless bull shite unless you're an oversensitive twat.

While true, if it happened to us, we would all probably be pretty aggravated about it. It depends on the temperament of the person, I guess.

JPW had a flag thrown in him just for putting his hand to his ear, without all the extra stuff Tebow did

LSU fans don't deserve any of those recruits. How they act will only encourage more players to leave the state. Probably why their '18 class is all 3 stars

Ha I mean I guess my point was that same thing was penalized the next season.

That was awesome. Love that shite (all around, students and players).

Tebow was Son of God. Refs aren't gonna hit him with that flag.

all fan bases have some crazies.

But Alabama fans are totally stable, they never do anything bad; oh wait . . .

Nekesa Shepherd said Briskey flew into a rage when she saw the sisters and others joking that the Crimson Tide's loss wasn't as bad as if the NBA's Miami Heat had lost a game.

"She said we weren't real Alabama fans because it didn't bother us that they lost. And then she started shooting," Shepherd told The Associated Press.

"The weekend after the Iron Bowl, I went to Auburn, Ala., because I lived 30 miles away, and I poisoned the two Toomer's trees. I put Spike 80DF in 'em.

An Alabama man pleaded guilty Tuesday to obscenity charges and faces a two-year prison sentence for rubbing his genitals on an unconscious LSU fan in a Bourbon Street restaurant after the BCS national title game in January.

But hey, it's only the LSU fans who are CRAZY!

The players have all the reason in the world to be pissed. That would be annoying as hell.

I'm saying it's harmless unless the fans of the offended party are oversensitive twats (Tuscaloosa).
