I don't think you're familiar with how these things work. LSU always travels well and will have a good crowd but you aren't going to have nearly as many as UGA will.

12-1 LSU with the top resume of all playoff contenders is absolutely in the playoff.
No, they aren't.

Has been discussed ad naseum by the national media playoff experts.
"experts" lol. They are irrelevant. The only thing that is relevant is the committee making the decision, and they have never put in a non champ over a champ with less than 2 losses. I'm speaking from historical data while you're relyign on people paid to tell you their opinion.

Had there been 4 undefeated conference champs, maybe wouldn’t be the case, but that won’t be the case this year.
12-1 SEC champ uga (in this hypothetical)
undefeated clemson (likely happening)
undefeated OSU (likely happening)
is 3 spots. That would leave a 1-loss Pac 12 champ, potentially an undefeated Big12 champ, and a 1-loss sec team that didn't win their conference.
Me personally, I fully believe LSu would annihaliate any of those other teams in contention and is without question the best resume in foobtlal at this moment. All I'm saying is that there are certainly some arguments to be made to leave htem out in this scenario and it's not nearly the slam dunk LSU fans claim it is.

I understand what you’re saying, I truly do.
I’m just telling you... call it an opinion, call it wrong, call it Wishful thinking or whatever... 12-1 LSU in 2019 Relative to the rest of the playoff contenders is absolutely in THIS YEAR’s playoff. Under a different set of circumstances where Bama or Oregon or Oklahoma or Baylor etc played a tougher schedule or had a better overall record, this may not be the case, but given the landscape THIS year it is indeed a slam dunk.
Clearly we’ll have to agree to disagree on this point and I didn’t mean to derail the thread.

LSU fans hate Atlanta, stemming from the Saints-Falcons rivalry
They hate Atlanta so much, if they get to choose where to play their semifinal game they will choose Phoenix over Atlanta

How much did you and your fellow A&M fans pay for SECCG tickets?

I see what you're sayign and don't necessarily think you're wrong. The last month I have bene a broken record when it comes to the playoffs, and 100% of every post I've made on the subject is based SOLELY on what the committee has done so far. We can speculate and guess all day but I'm posting about the black and white actual facts of what decisisons the committee has made up to this point. And up to now they have never put in a non-champ over a champion with less than 2 losses, that's where I'm coming from. But again, like I said earlier, this situatino woudl break the mold a bit as they would not have had an exact apples to apples comparison with this, since the only other time (2015 with iowa) was not nearly as accomplished as lsu.

but not many people are willing to spend that much money for football.
Apparently this only applies to LSU fans... Which actually surprises me, given the 8 year drought...

I’m with ya... I just think these would be particular circumstances that we haven’t seen before in the limited tenure of the CFP.
ALL that said, I still don’t want it to come to that...I’ll be rooting like hell for LSU to go 13-0 and leave no doubt/questions! Haha
Just glad the SECCG is against UGA and not Florida... LSU/UGA has always been respectful/civil... Florida not so much.

Natty is in Nola and alot of fans are likely looking ahead
I heard minimum face value for the NC game is $775. That is insane to me, over $3g just for tickets for a family of 4. Add in travel, lodging, meals and entertainment and that's a $7500 trip. For a Minday night game just after Christmas and NYE and the semi final game.
Family of 4 to go to SECCG, CFPO Semi and Final would be what, $6g for tickets and another $10k for travel, lodging, meals and entertainment.
That's a chunk of change just to go see some football games.

that is not even close to correct.

Ok, so what is the face value for the tickets?
Posted on 11/14/19 at 9:56 am to spacewrangler
I don't have any idea actually. My post above was probably a bit of hyperbole, what I should have said was "I would be absolutely stunned if ticket prices went up that much in 2 years". The uga/bama title game just 2 years ago started at around $400 for face value. For that to double in just 2 years seems too hard to believe.
Posted on 11/14/19 at 10:00 am to spacewrangler
Looked it up and looks like $575 face value. So what I heard is off by $200.. still an expensive face value for a ticket. $2400 for family of 4 if they can get a face value ticket.
but on ticket master cheapest price was $916.
My point remains, it's expensive to go to all 3 games.

nothing you find on any site is going to be face value. But yes I agree wiht your point it's expensive. Hell regular season games are expensive, face value (to visiting fans) for the AU game this weekend is $140. That's highway robbery.

The return trip to the peach bowl if LSU were fortunate enough to end up there with the NCG in New Orleans is the one I’d expect a softer market for.
Disagree. The Semifinal is immensely bigger than the SEC Champ game assuming we're undefeated going into it.
