It's supposed to storm all day here tomorrow. Be shocked if Game 2 is played. Saturday is about a 50-60% chance of showers.

Earlier in the week, it looked like the whole series could be washed out.

Yep. I'm going Saturday if they make it happen. No way they make these guys play a doubleheader on Mothers Day

If that was a boxing match ,Kentucky had Vols on ropes whole game. Finally KO punch in 13th. Good game both teams.

Tennessee doesn't get to break the fewest SEC losses record of 3 set by Vandy in 2013. So sad

Wow what a game!

Watched some then read the play-by-play this morning. UK kept getting a man in scoring position with 2outs but couldn’t get the clutch hit.

Then finally got it done. LINK

Nice win, UT is damn good this year. That said they have been a bit more human lately.

His first 2 years they were under .500 in SEC play. Hard to act like that when you're losing more than you're winning.

UT SEC record 10 seasons prior to Vitello:

2008 - 12-18
2009 - 11-19
2010 - 12-18
2011 - 7-23
2012 - 8-22
2013 - 9-19
2014 - 12-18
2015 - 11-18
2016 - 9-21
2017 - 7-21

Vitello's SEC Record by Season at UT:

2018 - 12-18
2019 - 14-16
2020 - 0-0 (15-2 overall before season was cancelled)
2021 - 20-10
2022 - 19-3 (so far)

So, Vitello's worst season (first season) at UT, was as good as any season they had in the 10 seasons prior.

Since the end of the 2019 season, his teams have lost 13 SEC games. There are currently 4 SEC teams who have lost that many so far this season.
