I seriously think until our bats get consistent, we should consider throwing Mize on Saturday. We are wasting him if we are only going to score 1 run every time we face an opponent’s ace.

If we can keep this under a Touchdown who knows, we need to change the field position though. Maybe some more longer passes to loosen up the running game.

This is only like the 2nd, maybe 3rd time he has even made it to the 7th this year. Usually has 100 pitches by the end of the 5th.

It was a good confidence boost for him I think. Let him go throw up a zero after a big inning. We haven’t gotten to do that much lately.
