One year?
Tha frick? Gottfried was terrible for his last few seasons. His last two teams weren't even good enough for the NIT. Grant getting to the NCAAt last year in his third year post-Gottfried was quite an accomplishment.

2005-06: 18-13
2006-07: 20-12
2007-08: 17-16
2008-09: 12-7 (Resigned mid–season)
ETA: We were 83-82 in conference play under Gottfried. I say that's mediocre at best.

Every team was the same. We'd win most home games, we'd get blown out every road game, and if there were enough good teams in the SEC to boost our RPI we'd make the NCAAt and go out in the first round. Exceptions were the season when we won the regular season SEC title and got a #2 seed, then lost in the second round to #10 Kent St. And the magical run to the Elite 8 as a #8 seed.

I'm convinced that some people don't even follow the basketball program and just talk out of their arse when the conversation comes up.

I think they just remember like one or two games from his decade or so and think it was all rosy. But he sucked so much arse

Compared to Billy Kennedy, Melvin Watkins knows how to coach.

Grant has done far more than Anderson. He's been a huge disappointment.

"Frank Beamer" may be the words you are looking far.... and yes, your coach will be fired.

Cuonzo is also in his make or break year. He's yet to make the tournament, so some fans are already starting to lose confidence. We'll be top 25 to start the season in both major polls. Expectations are and should be high as we return every major contributor, get an All-SEC performer in Maymon back, and add ***** shooting guard robert hubbs to the mix.
The fanbase will not be patient, especially with Pearl's show cause ending at the end of next season.
this starting five should compete for the SEC, and have sweet sixteen aspirations at the very least.
1. Trae Golden
2. Robert Hubbs
3. Jordan McRae
4. Jerronne Maymon
5. Jarnell Stokes

Grant is on the hot seat next season
Haith has made the tournament the last 2 seasons, he's going nowhere next year
Anderson isnt on the hot seat yet, but if he doesnt make the tournament next year, he'll be on the hot seat the following season

Well that sure proves nothing of substance.

Don't know what you been smoking... None of these guys are going anywhere. None has anymore interest in the NBA and very few programs can afford any of them much less the buyouts that would be required... Cal makes >$5.0M.
