The booing happened only because it was THAT obvious. The first time it happened the crowd clapped for the guy when he got up, the second time even the refs knew what was going on...

Why bring this shite here and look like a sore loser? It didn't have any effect on the outcome of the game. The better team won.

Sounds like your just bitter your team lost and are grasping for reasons why. You just admitted you have used the same tactic in a game so why complain now? Obviously our older players couldnt keep up with you young whippersnappers

I hate Yost. I fricking hate him. I wish Pinkel wasn't so loyal to Yost.
Fact is that Yost costs us games due to poor play calling. Period.

There were equally as many injury stops on both sides...you just choose to see but one side.
Go back and watch Mizzous injury timeouts...
You should get some rest

So booing an injured player? Classy. Glad we let this second tier team in our conference.
You know that's not how almost all of us roll.
Just saying.
I was embarrassed by that. Our fans are better than that - or they should be. No excuse. You do not boo a player who's down - whether you think it's fake or not. If you're in the stands, you don't know. Period. Not cool.

If Mizzou plays like they played tonight, they are going to be looking at a nice 1-7 conference record. You guys should be thanking Kentucky for being the buffer below.
What an awful team.

Yeah, you're right. Trust me I've been on the anti-Yost wagon since he took over OC. I'm not a fan of people being involved in sports that did not play them. I think Mike Leach at least played HS ball, Yost never played a sport. Plus Leach is a genius.
I'm not ready to give up on JF, I'm just saying I'm really unimpressed with him and I really don't think Berks running ability is much different than JFs and I think his passing is better.
JF just didn't seem to be in command or leading this team at all tonight.
And you're right on ab the O-line.
The play calling was also dictated by the fact we were facing a very good defense.
No offense to you personally but I grow tired with some Mizzou fans that look at things inside a Mizzou bubble. (Not saying you are but...)
The reality is a REALLY good Georgia defense (Minus 2 possible all american's) forced Mizzou to adjust.
Thats the way it goes. Want to sit in the pocket and 5 step and torch defenses with a 4 or 5 wide spread? Well we are going to have to protect the QB and right now that isn't a reality for Mizzou against SEC defenses.
All I'm saying is our coaches obviously respect and understand our limitations against SEC defenses, maybe our fans should start to as well.

+10000000000
HCGP is loyal to a fault. Steck has got the d doing the right thing. Yost has been ripping bong hits up in the booth since he started. Good recruiter, poor administrator of an offense.

Agree, I could have worded it differently, lol. However, we need to change our drug policy to match other SEC schools.
People act like UGA is bullshite because our guys actually get drug tested and the staff actually follows the rules set by the school. People act like we are gangsters for smoking stone. Right. Like kids @ UF, Tenn, LSU, USCe, Kentucky, Vandy, A&M, Ole Miss, Miss St, Mizzou, Auburn and Bama don't puff L's. Okay...
Just sucks we are more strict than others. Every school should have the same testing and punishment if they are going to enforce pot rules.

I don't see what a good defense has to do with doing gimmicks like a wildcat to start the game. Snap the ball into your leaders hands on the first play of conference play. That was terrible.
I don't see what a good defense has to do with calling a fake punt run on 4th and 11. Or continuing to try to pass to the outside when slants over the middle is what was working. And I don't get holding KLawerence back so much, he should have had way more touches.
I don't get what a good defense has to do with running multiple series in a row without putting a RB in the backfield.

I hear you in a way but I want to ask you a question:
What if the O-Line cant protect enough to develop plays down field?
The ability of the offensive line to protect is the single largest dynamic involved in offensive play calling.

I got to admit I was very pissed off about the old man football comment. I am over that now and really want Mizzou to represent next week against Arizona State. I don't want some damn ESPN commentator saying that the SEC doesn't match up with the PAC 12. I wish Mizzou the best of luck and will be watching.
BTW, I really liked the tiger helmets. I don't really like tigers since I am a BAMA fan but that is cool looking helmet.

1. the teams were evenly matched. uga made a couple more plays that turned the tide.
2.mizzous D was very active and aggressive. they held their own.
3.the atmosphere and crowd were great. if the old folks weren't contributing it didnt show. but every stadium's noise level varies by game and situation. uga's crowd can be very loud or very passive.
4. doubt if injuries were straight up faked, but may have been milked for all they were worth. faking injuries to gain rest would be bush.
5. the sec is tough but the big 12 wasnt chop suey. mizzou is more than ready to compete. middle of the pack maybe, but right now it's bama, lsu then everybody else, anyway.
6. the unis are bad but nothing beats that shite uga wore vs. boise last year

The protection was there AFTER Yost figured out that a read option followed by a screen followed by a qb draw wasn't working. The o-line was nails when JF needed them to be. He had plenty of time on most passing plays, especially when they were able to put the foot on the gas a bit.
The only time I thought the oline looked really bad was when we were running the speed plays they might not be suited for, and by that I mean the fact that there were 2's and 3's out there tonight. Just not ready for the precision plays yet. Yost should know this.

I still think its garbage, but is irrelevant bc the all around better team did win.
It's what we do and it works. Learn it and shut up. UGA and UF have been taking notes from LSU.
