Thought the GA fans were impressive. Gotta tip the hat to them, and getting the 'old man football' chant going really hammered it home.

1. I thought it was BS that GA obviously pretended to be hurt twice when we were moving the ball with no huddle. Pinkel doesn't do classless stuff like that. Do what you have to in order to win, but thats BS. EDIT: After thinking about it, I've done the same in another sport. I still think its garbage, but its irrelevant bc the all around better team did win.

2. Those yellow jerseys are horrible.

3. A wildcat play to start the game, are you fricking kidding me? Start all games (especially the first one in a new conference) by snapping the ball into the hands of your leader, the qb.

4. The fake punt absolutely killed us. That was the worst in game decision Pinkel has ever made. That changed everything.

5. Might as well of redshirted DGB if you're not going to use him, it's pathetic. Watching him in person you can tell he has things that guys like Eric Waters do not have, he should be playing.

6. Why did Marcus Murphy get so many touches? KLawerence is a little rocket back there, that was BS.

7. James Franklin is on the hot seat. Berkstresser is just as good at running and a 10 times better passer. Plus Franklin looks asleep half the time. No awareness in the pocket tonight.

8. The regular adults that go to Mizzou games better pick up their shite. Those GA fans weren't students and 20 somethings, they were old adults getting loud and rowdy. Our oldtimers just sit there and mumble back ZOU to the student section.

9. Overall I didn't see us get physically beaten at all. I thought our defense absolutely shut them down for most of the game, a lot of GA points came with a short field.

10. GA tried giving us the game in the first half, we didn't capitalize enough on that.

Looked like the fake FG against A&M in 2006.

Classless? Pfft... Get used to it, brother. This isn't retard football where teams will just let you run all over them without thinking twice. We win in this league. It will happen MANY more times.

He is still learning the playbook. Relax. It happens. Its the second week.

You just went over the deep end with this nonsense.

Enjoy your hangover.

3. Typical Yost.

4. This tops icing your own kicker.

7. The Tank did look a little shell shocked early on. Pulled it together till the pick. Can't figure out why he can't get the helmet on right though. Cost us that second time around.

8. MU old timers have always been the sit down shut up types, this is not new. Hopefully, this changes now.

9. Agree. Really the fricking fake punt shut the whole machine down. Was kind of rolling along fine up to that point.

Yep, I think faking injuries is classless. No integrity in that.. just my opinion.

I don't like wishing injuries, but maybe Jenkins going down for real is karma. Kinda wouldn't be upset if he was out for a while. Get what you deserve.

Not drunk, had to drive the crew home..

Its a given Berks is the better passer and I really don't think there is much difference in there running ability. Franklin is not fast, he is impressive at times bc he is so strong.. I don't think you'd lose much in the qb running game with Berkstresser. But... I'll put this argument on hold for another couple weeks.

Honestly I didn't notice this. It was a hard-hitting hard fought game by both teams and Mizzou had their share of injured players during the game also. Looked Jenkins (our NG) was mostly having problems with cramps in his legs. The boxscore reveals 2 evenly matched teams. We collected one more TO that was forced by Jarvis Jones and yes, I agree that the fake punt was a bad call. Your defense had been playing well most of the game; you should have just punted the ball and played field-position. Regardless good game and good luck vs Arizona St. next week.

The whole crowd was booing the second time it happened, and after a few minutes the guy just popped up and walked off the field. Which got the boos going even louder.

I've done the same tactic in hockey now that I think about it, we tell the goalie to fix his pads when we need a certain line on the ice that is tired. I get it, I was just mad about it.

Its a shame it ended 41-20.. bc I think it should have been remembered as a better game than it will be.

Berk is a solid option for the future and I will be the first to argue with those that have given the reins over to Mauk after Franklin. I think Berk will be the guy. That being said, there is no way we are better off with RSF Berk over Franklin.

You have to look at the play calling before you point fingers at the Tank. We also have a HUGE problem on the O line.

We are just not honestly built for the long haul of an SEC schedule. When you have to compromise your offensive playbook, which is our bread and butter, in the first week of conference play due to injuries; its a very telling sign.

We will get better, we will recruit better, it will just take more time and those Mizzou fans thinking we will compete at a top 15 level right now will be very disappointed.

shite happens, get over it. We had our chances to take control of the game. The better team won.

There were equally as many Mizzou injuries ingame.

I stopped reading after you listed that as #1. What about when Fisher went down? Did he interrupt our defensive chi?

Look at this game from both sides

I wont base opinions of Mizzou fans off this guy.

So booing an injured player? Classy. Glad we let this second tier team in our conference.

Opinion noted. However, who are you to say they didn't have an issue? Just curious. Were you on the UGA medical staff? Look, buddy. This is football, SEC football at that. Teams will do whatever they can to win. UGA doing it the right way is hardly "classless". You should be looking at Bama for PED's or LSU for drug addicts or even Auburn for buying a QB. Fact is, UGA does everything by the book, including following our own rules for off the field issues (toughest policy in the SEC BTW). If a kid has a cramp, or is "faking" it, there is nothing anyone can do or say as it's not against the rules to be "injured". It happens in almost every NFL game when a team is running a "hurry up". To call a team "classless" for something you have no idea about is garbage. Just my opinion.

However, wishing a player to be out for games because of an injury IS classless.

You know that's not how almost all of us roll.

Just saying.

Yeah, you're right. Trust me I've been on the anti-Yost wagon since he took over OC. I'm not a fan of people being involved in sports that did not play them. I think Mike Leach at least played HS ball, Yost never played a sport. Plus Leach is a genius.

I'm not ready to give up on JF, I'm just saying I'm really unimpressed with him and I really don't think Berks running ability is much different than JFs and I think his passing is better.

JF just didn't seem to be in command or leading this team at all tonight.

And you're right on ab the O-line.
