What does that have to do with anything?

By my math, Dabo would have to win 10 of the next 18 for your statement to be true.

Second, you really think Saban should retire? Serious question. Because the process doesn't work anymore? I'm just not sure how to take that.

Damn, that sounds like a really cool trip. I can't imagine how gorgeous the Pac Coast Hwy was. You saw a lot. Glad you had a good trip.

We've always tried to do as much as possible on these so in the event of a disaster ballgame the whole thing isn't a wash.

This trip tested that philosophy LOL

Long, wordy, but not a bad post...

Until you get to points 7,8 where you decided to let your pussy show. Common mistake. Just make sure you wear your panties next thread.

Clemson is the new Dynasty in College Football

Not after one game. They play nobody in the ACC. Could Clemson have gone undefeated in the Regular Season with back to back to back games being Georgia, Auburn, LSU. I think not. They won a game...not a dynasty.

What would you say the breakdown of fans was

Bama %/Clemson %?

Probably like 55/45 Clemson maybe?

That’s because our LBs blitz like old ladies. I never did see us try to send a corner or safety at him. Might as well tried a jailbreak blitz and send everybody. The results would have been the same and maybe we would have hit him.

Bama did very poor job making adjustments ( that’s obvious but I can’t figure out why)

Pretty obvious to anyone not a fan of Bama or a Tia dick sucker: Bama clearly bought into the hype of Tia and it showed.

even though Tosh in the DC, I thought Saban pretty much ran it , 'or took over more.' Was surprised by the lack of urgency on defense.

The Stadium looked pretty full except for the top corners, but with the seats being red and fans wearing Red, it was hard to tell.

It was - some scattered empties, but no massive empty spots. Lot of locals in the parking lot beforehand and ended up being solid contingencies of both fanbases.

It really ended up being a pretty neat, different CFB experience.

Thank you for your post bamaoldtimer.....yes I'm a gator fan but I loooovee Alabama. My first swim NCAA's were in Tuscaloosa and I just loved the place so I've been a fan ever since. I have to say my 12 year old son is a huge Bama fan and cried himself to sleep last night and was still sick over the game that I allowed him to stay home from school today. He was that upset. What an excellent program you guys have and get to cheer for....although the loss hurts Bama will be back. And btw....I think that game could have swung either way had some different things happened earlier on. Everyone in my family all said the game was just weird and not per usual Bama fashion. I'd also like to say that does anyone think that the semi final games where Clemson cruised to a win easily while Bama had to play really tough to win (even though the score didn't show it) have anything to do with Bama being a bit more tired than Clemson? Just my 2 cents....

My take was they needed to keep as many covering receivers as possible and thus limited the blitz opportunities.
Clemson OL controlled the line of scrimmage in a way I didn’t think Alabama could be handled. That gave Lawrence time and got receivers open. Those converted 3td and Kong’s killed Alabama.

8. It’s time for Saban to gracefully exit. His process isn’t working anymore. Dabo has fun, Saban should give that a try.

The last two sentences are spot on. The first two sentences are super spot on - we agree he should exit.
