I think the west as a whole has too many QB questions to be considered best ever. 2010 was the best the west has ever been

make a prediction, how many total losses will the West have, given there can be no fewer than 21

last year there were 30 as reference

I think there will be a bit more parity this year. Tennessee is gong to field a good squad, as is Georgia. Carolina could sort things out and come in under the radar. Missouri will in all likelihood surprise everyone again. Kentucky just has to be better after being close in so many last year.

Didn't MSU lose like 17 of their 22 starters?

if you ask MSU fans those are just the starters that Mullin plays because he likes them, not because they are good or anything.

Maybe we can get the weak-arse competition for bowl games that the EAStY got to play.

Who did the west beat last year when the division was so dominant?

Exactly!

We didn't care about the NY bowl game, we were just mad about barely missing out on the playoffs..

Just part of being a MSU fan these days.

Really balanced again; that seems likely. Should be fun once again.

Agreed, everyone in the West is a quality team. QB is a question mark for most and will probably be the biggest deciding factor in the way the division shakes out.

Everyone will go bowling, and the team that goes to Atlanta should go to the Playoff but may have two losses and get kept out.

I think Ole Miss is better than they're getting credit for.

Ole Miss was good, but they weren't THAT good. TCU had a legitimate shot to win the title, but got screwed out of their playoff appearance because the Big 12 doesn't have its shite together.

If B12 HAD had their sh*t together, Baylor would have been sole champ and would have been selected fifth by the playoff committee, right behind Ohio St. The only way TCU could have gone is if FSU and Ohio St had both lost their conf title games.

I don't see it. Last year, the division was weak as hell. Sure, they beat up on the pathetic east, but as bowl season showed, the division was weak as hell. I don't see how it gets any great amount better this year. Auburn, Arkie and Aggy should be somewhat improved, maybe. LSU should be about the same for all eternity until we have a coach who can recruit and develop a QB. Alabama, Ole Miss and State should all take a step backward. To me, that suggests the overall strength of the division should be about as bad as last year, still leaps and bounds stronger than the east, but still weak as hell.

if the east would have given a good representative to the new years 6 it would have bumped the west teams down a peg in the bowl games and the west would have won more.

So what you are saying is you can only beat inferior teams and can not compete with elite teams?

What a dumb post.
