That argument might hold water if we were talking about "most dominant team", but we're not. We're talking about the better defense. We gave up 6 points in regulation in that loss - which was lower than our season average of 8 points per game - which was the lowest average in the history of modern college football.

It's not close? You do realize that 2011 Bama D had 6 players drafted last year, 3 in the first round with more to come the next 2-3 years, right? Some of you are simply delusional.

IMO if Saban coached the 01 hurricanes defense, they give up 0 points.

Wrong. You lost game 1 because you were OUTCOACHED!! It was your coach your coach that called for a reverse pass near the redzone. It was you coach that kept trotting out mediocre kickers to attempt 48+ yard field goals. It was your coach that sent a gimpy punt return out to midfield and didn't back him up enough that allowed a 70 something yard punt.
Now, game 2, it was the other coach that got completely de-pantsed.
