For the second time, how do you cut a player from a roster if he is not on the roster?

I provided you a screenshot of the Brown’s roster from 8/14/26 showing Dae’quan Wright listed on their roster.

How do you expect to win your argument that he was never on the Brown’s roster when we can see with our own eyes that he most definitely was on their roster?

I know yours includes playing a pro under a TRO, going 3-2 with him and Sankey had to get his secretary to draft a strongly worded letter.

Because he can’t actually read.

Because I’ve never argued anything about a preseason roster?

My line of demarcation has always been the 53 man regular season roster or practice squad, which a player is required to make to activate any signed contract for salary earnings.

The only payments received in preseason are weekly per diems (similar to daily per diems for minicamp invites) or signing bonuses (which are paid back if planning to go back to college under 5 for 5 TROs).

But Missouri is

Right - Webb added Mizzou to his suit because final eligibility and roster decisions are up to the school. So now Missouri's hands are tied - they are under court order to keep him on the roster (and based on the ESPN article it says they can't exclude him from competition, which is crazy - does that mean he has to play every down that he wants to play?).

I'm not aware of any other suit that forces a school to roster a player, so I guess those decisions are still ultimately up to each school.

It's wild. And has mostly slid under the radar in all this Lane media and rant madness. It's one of the more intriguing aspects of this drama.

Right - as much as I hate this NFL drama, the legal wrangling is intriguing. Mizzou was sued by Webb, but MU didn't contest it all from what I heard - basically, by naming MU in the suit it protects the school.

That is fine. You can make your line of demarcation anything you want it to be.

But the people who will vote on whether LSU remains a member of the SEC have made it clear that their’s is if a player appears on a NFL roster. And I posted the Brown’s roster with Dae’quan Wright clearly listed on it. They have made it clear that Dae’quan Wright is an NFL player, regardless of what someone on the SEC rant claims.

You realize the reason Wright is not on a practice squad is because he is trying to return to college don’t you? And that makes him ineligible to play for an NFL team this year. This is going to work out where Wright can’t play for LSU and he can’t play for the NFL. That lawyer is screwing him so hard. Maybe they will sue the NFL next to try to force them to take him back. That will do wonders for his NFL career.

The head of it all actually claimed that is was anyone who left. Anyone.
