Beat UF and I think all is forgotten. I think most LSU fans will be happy with 10-2 or 9-3. What remains is if the SEC officals are this bad when is it your turn? That is most disturbing.

From now on, people will say that we were helped into the SECCG this year. It doesn't matter if most don't believe it and that it was just a bad call. There will still be a large enough percentage of people claiming we were helped to keep it in history.
what position you play?

Despite all the sec ref talk, you can bet Verne and Danielson will say at the end of the day the two best teams are in the title game - Bama/Fla - and I will agree with that. Winner gets a shot at Texas in Pasadena. If you win those two games all the controversy will go away.

With that said, a no call on Riley Cooper against Fla and a bad call against Bama did not give LSU an opportunity to beat two teams they had on the ropes! Again, LSU was not the better team on those days and that is evident by the yardage totals!

Would you care if you were boning a supermodel on the reg, and everyone who disliked you spread lies about her only dating your for your money or for your car? Of course not, you would just enjoy the top notch poon and the hell with what anyone else thought. Take the same approach and you will be fine.

Just as UGAy fans will always try and argue that they should have gone to the NC instead of us in '07, they have their opinions I have mine and I could not be happier with what we accomplished that year and I will always cherish that season, that team, and their accomplishments.

I would spend less time worrying about tainted success in the eyes of your enemies and more time relishing in what success you are having now as it won't last after this season, courtesy of LSU.

As I've stated before. The shame of all of this is that 1 TERRIBLE call shifted the focus away from what was a Great college football game between storied rivals.
Yes, bama outgained LSU. But, I wouldn't say they outplayed them. Both teams played their arse off. bama had a 6 point lead and LSU should've gotten the opportunity to see if they could respond to a "Game Changing" type of play to win the game.
One thing that gets missed by some is just how GREAT of a play that PP made on that play. That was NFL material for sure.
Most LSU fans acknowledge that the percentages were that bama's D would have stopped us. Then again, what were the percentages that Julio would catch a 2 yard pass and turn it into the 70+ yd game winning score? Maybe B.Lafell does the same thing?
The sad part is that had the replay official done his job properly, none of this would be left up to discussion. LSU would've gotten the ball and the world would have seen either:
bama stop the LSU offense AGAIN in the 4th q like they had most of the day.
Or
LSU's offense make that epic drive that would rival Billy Cannons return against ole miss.

Unfortunately the world will never know because of 1 man's incompetence. That's nothing against bama, nothing against LSU. It's everything to do with the replay official.

73 YARDS ON A NON CALL ON THE BLOCK IN THE BACK. STARTING QB & TB OUT. I KNOW IT WASN'T WORSE BECAUSE IT WASN'T. I'M JUST SAYING THAT WITH THE INT WE WOULD HAVE HAD A CHANCE. THAT'S IT. A CHANCE, BUT WE DIDN'T GET IT SO DAMNED RIGHT WE'RE PISSED OFF AND YOU WOULD BE TOO BAMA FAN.

The great effort and talent of the Alabama players will be questioned, and it is an insult to them.

All this because of one bad call. (Hold up there conspiracy theorists, I know you've got other bad calls from that game). The one bad call on the INT is what everyone remembers, it's what sprung all these other searches for bad calls.
In a game Bama may very well have won straight up. It sucks for us too BTW.

But here's the worst part, Mike Slive does not plan to change a thing.
Nothing.

He allows Bama's potentially perfect season to be tainted. He leaves us feeling screwed, and the SOB does not have the slightest intention of fixing the league's officiating.

Probably leaves some to wonder what Slive's cut is.

True. BAMA fans need to be happy with the victory.

Answering every post by an LSU fan or BAMA hater is only perpetuating the debate and keeping it fresh in everyones mind. Drop it.

HAHA, superman, how old are you? Ok yall won a great game at home. Homer are not, everyone knows LSU was cheated in that game. Keep telling yourself that it should have been alot worse. As far as the two scores goes, you have got to be kiddin me....Yall kicked a FG with about 4 minutes left that put yall 1 point out of reach of a one possession game that was littered with bad calls and multiple injuries.

Congrats on the win, but do society a favor and keep your mouth closed if you are going to say yall killed LSU

Again I ask, how old are you....another terrible assessment. You wanna talk about shooting yourself in the foot, LSU penalties that killed drives on multiple occasions. Trust me LSU shot themselves in the foot just as much, if not more than BAMA.

you didn't ask me before, you asked someone else. i'm 27, so although i may not be old enough to know a lot of the histories, i AM smart enough to debate you about the way this game went... but i think superman posted some good figures you ought to marinate on for a while. maybe you should sit the next round out champ.

In the end it won't matter. All that will be remembered this year is whether we win a championship or not.

And any serious mature person knows that the conspiracy theory is only for fricking morons.

The winner of an LSU-Florida SECCG would play for the national title, it would be THE game of the year up until that point and it would do very well in ratings.

Alabama-Florida would be bigger but enough for the SEC to initiate a widespread conspiracy among its league office and officials? If you think so I'm not gonna say you should shoot yourself cause that would be harsh but anything short of that would be fine.

And LOL the LAST way the SEC would conspire to throw the game would be on one huge play at the very end. They would do it with just a little bit more subtlety than that. Its depressingly stupid.
