LSU has always gotten great recruits and even transfers. Your state produces top quality talent that’s no issue. But it doesn’t typically or even often result in great outcomes. Yes you’ve won a two titles in the last 20 years. 3 technically in the last 70 years almost, but overall you’re an average program.
You’re just happy because you’re doing better in the offseason than you’ve done in the past. You give others shite about being offseason champs, and now you’re thrilled about being offseason champs that you nominated yourself for actually.
Will Lane win some games, yes. But make no mistake, LSU will be as they always are, average and maybe, just maybe… you’ll pull one out of your arse and win it all, but it won’t be with Kiffin.

All the post by LSU fans I've seen doesn't expect us going to the playoffs. Most would be happy with 9-3 or 10-2. We are just happy we are finally going in the right direction. And the reaction when Harlem Berry gets his first 100 yard game will be awesome.
