How is that different from any gameday?

Can’t wait for this all to blow up in your face. It will be glorious.
Well that's not very nice of you. But it might, especially if you define "blowing up" as him bolting for another school in 6 yrs after a few 10 and 11 win seasons.

He has never succeeded at the helm of a major program.
Neither had Saban, Miles and certainly not Orgeron, but here we are. And like you, I don't consider Ole Miss a major program either, so I concede the point.

Enjoy the ride, either way, it’s going to be entertaining.
Without a doubt.

There is no way you went to LSU.
This is a reasonable and coherent post.

I remember the early days. There was such love for Brian Kelly.
How far in your LSU vault did you have to dig for that one?

I did indeed. While working three meaningless jobs and construction turn arounds in chemical plants each summer, blowing pell grant money at Fred's before the check cleared, and in the pre-TOPS era, joining the National Guard to get free tuition and the payback of school loans which I had taken out only because they let me.
They were even kind enough to give me a degree if I agreed to leave. After which the Guard gave me an invite to winter in the sands of Kuwait. Luckily, last minute, they felt I would be better served roaming the beautiful forests of Fort Polk for a few months.

Kelly? Well looks like Kiffin to me when he was at USC. Ever since then he still hasn't won a championship.

Y'all turned on Ogre 13 months after a natty.

Didn’t know there were actually solid guys who went to LSU. Who knew?

Yup. LSU is Lane’s newest mistress and they won’t be his last. I give him 3 years before he either leaves or they start the Brian Kelly excuses for him.

Lane does not appear to be capable of handling the extremely high expectations and stress that come with the LSU job. Ole miss allowed him to make some mistakes without losing their shite. This could be absolute chaos.

Bama fans are more upset by this than Ole Miss fans
Yeah. I'm so upset that our administration was a hell of a lot smarter than all of us that were clamoring for that complete sack of shite to replace Saban.
Dude needs professional help because he clearly doesn't live in reality to think that he could just take a job with a rival school and be allowed to coach the playoffs. His level of delusion and narcissism is second to none. He quit on a playoff team because it was in his best interest long term plain and simple and he is too full of himself to admit it. All he wants to do is play the victim and gaslight and blame the system and Ole Miss administration and take no personal accountability.
He's a great football coach. Best offensive mind in college football period point blank. He's willing to do whatever is necessary to win with whatever group of players he has to work with, but he is an absolute shite stain of a person.

Very accurate statement! He may very well win LSU a natty in 2-4 years, maybe two. But when he leaves it is going to be ugly ugly. The egos on both sides of that divorce will make it entertaining as all get out!

The first time Kiffin goes for it on fourth down inside his own 30, doesn't get it, and then winds up losing the game, this place is going to be quite the sight.
After living thru the Les Miles era with the amount of fake calls he made which included calling a fake punt from his own end zone…we’re good.

No one has ever done this at LSU, so that would mean it's not the most LSU hire ever.

Unpossible without the clown governor y’all have. After grandstanding about the BK contract, he gives Lane one that is 80% guaranteed with no mitigation clause and a bonus for an Ole Miss playoff win or NC?
