It’s 100% bullshite and maybe the stupidest opinion I’ve read on this board. And that says a lot because I read my own stuff too.

If your goal is a SEC Championship, wtf would you empty your arsenal during the season when you will likely have a rematch later in the year?
This isn't rocket science and this wouldn't be the 1st time it happened.. not even close.. coaches do this all the time.
Perhaps you should worry less about Sark and more about Kirby's 2-4 record in the SEC Championship Game.
2017 - W - Auburn
2018 - L - Alabama
2019 - L - LSU
2021 - L - Alabama
2022 - W - LSU
2023 - L - Alabama
ouch

I called him HC when he was only OC for the Falcons. You caught me.
What an unpardonable sin.

There's a common thread there to 3 of those 4... let's see if you can stop rubbing one out to Dazed & Confused long enough to put it together.

I'm sorry, did correcting his job title mitigate the fact that dude was a blackout drunk?
Let's not pretend that his booze-soaked rant at a USC booster event was an isolated incident.

Well at least you knew something about his past! Congrats, you look slightly less like an idiot now and more like a rambling retard.

Pro Tip: If your extracurricular activities make an LA gossip blog almost 10 years after you worked in that town and clearly follow you to subsequent gigs, you may not have all those demons behind you.

I bet you're a real big fan of The Real Housewives of Atlanta.

Related question, why does the orange on the helmet not match the orange jersey?

And I bet that was the sickest of burns in your head.
What you fail to understand is that Crazy Days and Nights is eminently credible when it comes to the sordid stuff, having accurately called the Dan Schneider shenanigans at Nickelodeon, as well as most of the Jeffrey Epstein saga years before it got any mainstream coverage.
Sorry your coach is a degenerate drunk/adulterer? Kill that messenger in the meantime.

I wouldn't know. Personally, I would be embarrassed to say I read gossip blogs.
But hey, it's 2024. You do you, bud.

Honest question... How do you feel about Elko?
From my perspective it seems like there isn't any improvement. A&M still finished 8-4 with the "easiest schedule you have had since joining the SEC". Pre-season win total was set at 8.5 so technically y'all under performed. Finally, the embarrassment that y'all received at home last weekend definitely couldn't have inspired confidence. The world saw A&M fail to do absolutely anything on offense, and get physically mauled on defense. It was actually interesting to watch A&M not adjust on either side of the ball the entire game.
To me it seems y'all are paying Jimbo 70 million to not coach, only to get the exact same result.
Too early to say.
I'm overall satisfied, but not ecstatic over him at this point. I think he's done some things to get our guys not running rampant off-field like was the case with Jimbo. He was in contention for the SECCG up to the final game of the season, which hardly seemed to be the case before. He really shite the bed in November though.
He's in year one and a lot of the things you mentioned could be said about Sark's first year going 5-7 at Texas in the Big 12. He's done a masterful job at righting the ship at Texas, but you also had THREE coaches on the payroll for some amount of time, right? As a head coach Elko is still pretty young - 3 seasons. And his record is similar to Sark's - actually a better win percentage. Sark's record at Washington and USC were pretty lackluster.
Not sure where 8.5 wins came from - how do you win 1/2 a game? Just call it 8 wins or 9 wins.
I don't know where this expectation that a coach with 2 years experience would come in and dominate the toughest conference comes from. I certainly didn't have that expectation. Saban went 7-6 his first year at Bama.
Can he overcome A&M's mediocre history? Time will tell.
