I give this thread a 7/10 for rustling.

This is what I am trying to say. There are guys with criminal histories out there. They get a fair game on the field.
The off field stuff has no bearing on the field. It didn't with Cam.
Tebow's Taunting was much more blatant and showed the worst leadership possible playing in a night game in Death Valley trying to win Natty.
The phone calls the night before - sorry. If you think so you ride in a short bus.
Again. If they let guys taunt him without calling it quick its gonna be bullshite - fights will start.
If they start calling the Money side it will be unprecedented. Its not a penalty.
Dude, JFF pointed to the scoreboard right in front of the refs. That's going to draw a flag every single time.
The question is not whether they will treat him differently, because they didn't on Saturday. It's why does it matter to ESPN and all the haters?

I think others have state that JFF needs to stop taunting and avoid the taunting calls.
I don't think we can expect to see other poor calls, like no calls on late hits on JFF and roughing the passer no calls. We'll just have to see.
The refs were not wrong in flagging JFF for taunting. They should have been flagging the Rice players, but JFF pointed to the scoreboard right in front of the refs. Gets flagged every single time.
Are any Ags really saying anything different? I just have a problem with people hyperbolizing the situation or saying that ESPN dramatizing affects ref calls.

Did they call a taunting on Rice and JFF or just JFF?

That's what I have been saying too.
JFF needs to knock it off for the sake of the team, but it's so big a non-story that ESPN looks shameless and mad because they wanted JFF to get more than a 1/2 game. Their butthurt is showing.

After reading some of your subsequent posts I think we're probably more in agreement than either of us wants to admit. I just whine more than you
"Relevant to the team, yes" and how he damn near destroyed the season. Yes to that, also. He really blew me away in the Rice game - just couldn't believe he acted like that after all he had put the team through.
To Rice, yes I am pretty arrogant. But mostly seriously I'm not sure anybody is worthy of taunting when you've just come out of a potential career-ending, season-ruining investigation. Just STFU and play. I'm not sure he can do that, though.

a. I meant that his actions on Saturday had nothing to do with the NCAA. It was not a slap to their face. I would like to hear your explanation as to why it was. It's irrelevant to the NCAA and its investigation. Relevant to the team, yes, but not the NCAA.

b. Why does shite talking to Rice or Middle Tennessee State make a difference? He was taunting and that's it. You sound pretty arrogant in reference to Rice--as if they are somehow unworthy of being taunted.

Was it a rice and A&M taunting? or just A&M

Agreed.

I agree with the bolded statement at least. You would think he would be a little more humble, but I think the taunting was more fun and games, given the Rice player's comments on it. ESPN wants him to keep quiet because they are mad that he got over. It's that simple.

I don't know....it sure looked to me like Manziel called that Rice player a racial slur, insulted Sumlin's mom on the way to the sideline, and then dropkicked a small child once he got back to the locker room.
But we don't know so my guess is just as good as yours.

Then why bring up the NCAA investigation?

YOur an idiot. Johnny got flag because he was talking trash, turned around talked more trash, the refs got between them, then he turned around a third time to say something in from of the refs. Just dumb. You boy lost his cool and let a RIce player get in his head.

Not really. Texas fans warned us about this fan base for a long time. They were exactly right.

They warned you that we would disagree with you in an argument? That should have been expected, right?
