From the backyard down by the lake looking up at the back of the house ... and since I walked-in the snow is now coming down like a blizzard again.
(Picture removed. Wasn't thinking, when I posted the picture, about the privacy thing and people maybe knowing my house from the lake ..... my bad. Sure didn't mean it as bragging. The snow has everyone excited around here but I hope it backs-off soon. Another tree just went.)

It's all part of our master plan to Northernize the SEC.
Step One... Mike Slive
Step Two... SEC Membership
Step Three... Freeze the bastards out.
Step Four... Carpetbag the shite outta y'inz.

Nice not so subtle brag on your nice house
That is a crazy amour of snow though. I don't think I've ever seen any in Mississippi in November. What part of the state do you live in?

Lake Murray, huh? I know where you live. Mwahahahaha!
ETA: Lake Murray is massive. I have family that lives on the Chapin side. I bet rooster knows them.

Lake Murray ... we've got about 375 miles of shore line.

Lake Murray ... we're about 25 miles west of Columbia.
The Weather Channel has made it official ... our earliest snowfall in recorded history and it is really coming down now. Trees are popping and breaking. I think we just lost our big dogwood tree out front.
It is seriously a blizzard out there right now.

This is insane. Snow everywhere where I live.

Blizzard as seen from the breezeway walking out to the garage looking out over the side yard from the front ... the trees are starting to go.

This is all Mississippi's fault. Both schools ranked highly. End of world imminent. I was wearing shorts 3 days ago...it was 89 degrees. Now snow and ice?! Dammit, I live in the lowcountry of SC for a reason!!!
ETA: trees are weak from that major ice storm we had last winter. We've got some breaking here, too. Wind is blowing alot of branches that were already broken but still wedged in trees down, as well.

Is it snowing in Columbia?

Lake Murray is pretty damn close to Columbia, so I would guess so.

Very heavy snow coming down in Columbia on campus according to my daughter.

quote:I was thinking that sounded huge so out of curiosity I looked up the miles of shoreline for Lake of the Ozarks here and it is 1,150 miles. I did not know that. 375 miles is still more than you will need for a boat.

I just talked to a buddy who is already at the stadium and he said it is barely snowing there, just started, that up until a few minutes ago it was only rain.
