I want to believe ... to be optimistic.
I like the new coaching hires.
Getting rid of Shula was our biggest offseason move.
Let's hope Kendall takes advantage of his talent.

Everything I've heard out of camp is this will be Beamers first real offense.
Our defensive starters are in the upper part of the SEC. My biggest concerns are depth and a kicker

Not the Gamecock way. I fully expect Beamerto have a 8win or higher season so our admin can give him another bone headed contract with a 100 million dollar buyout.
But he really does have a solid team this year AND a real OC.

Old team experienced . I talked to some usce fans last year who were expecting playoffs, I told them it’d be rough lost too much age but 26 would be beamers year to make some noise.

I think Beamer should be shown the door of he’s not at least fighting for a playoff spot in November

I agree but if he wins at least 8 he is safe playoff or not. We allow to much politics and power to the big money givers to ever have the balls to fire a coach in a winning season.

I think Florida will be much improved. Not saying they're a 10 win team but I think they'll upset some teams.

I like your optimism, but Beamer just ain’t it. He will probably jump up and bite a couple of teams in the arse he has no business beating though.

You want to know if a school that has been down is going to make great improvements just look to see if they have cycled back onto the Gamecocks schedule.

Beamer is not a coach he is a cheerleader and our recruiter. He actually has real coordinators now.
Just curious how decent of a season are lsu fans expecting?

This runs the gamut. You have the sunshine pumpers who expect a natty or at least a deep run in the playoffs. Others like me expect a lot of growing pains in Year 1. I’m thinking 8-9 wins.
