My first thought was the post-cheating scandal Houston Astros, but they kinda got a free pass playing in empty stadiums in 2020. What say tSECRant? Who are some of the other most universally hated teams in history?
Brady got a lot of hate during the deflategate.

People were pissed at Penn State but not sure they were hated in-season per se as the whole staff turned over.

Ray Lewis? Feel like people were "meh" about the Ravens even if they think he's a POS.

Within the SEC 2010 Auburn was a big deal but pay to play seems pretty pedestrian vs. a murder.

Not sure something like this has happened before.

My friend in New Hampshire hit me up asking why Alabama is allowing a murderer to play. That's the sad thing is people like him only half care but he now associates Bama basketball with murder.

That's funny because I work remotely for a CPA firm on the west coast with a bunch of other people spread throughout the country, and no one mentioned it when discussing our overall number 1 seed in our weekly meeting today.

IDK, the CBS Selection Sunday dude did allude to it when commenting about Bama being the #1 seed.

In a world where "clicks" = $ expect a bit more scrutiny as the tourney progresses. Just sayin'

Lol. Maybe in Auburn and maybe even Opelika, Alabama. He sure wasn't in these parts. We have integrity here

Whenever I forget that Auburn fans live in a completely parallel universe compared to everyone else, one of them comes along and reminds me.
