Yeah, that never happened.
Oh, it most certainly did. Even your AD Mal Moore made that claim.

As a 49ers fan, he is awful.

The Alero was popular?

I came here to say the same thing.

I got my first cell phone in 2000. Nokia you could play Snake on with that lovely Nokia ring tone.

I live for these kinds of threads.

I'd just started high school. Wearing Jncos, playing PSX, and listening to Limp Bizkit.

I drove a 99' Alero. v6 version with the same engine as the Grand Prix. I even had a trailer hitch on it. It had plenty of giddyup, sunroof, leather interior. The shitty thing is the dex cool system, head gaskets don't last too long. I miss that car. Cherry red.

ETA- mine was the 2-door version, with spoiler, much sleaker than OP pic. And alloy wheels.

the 1999 Oldsmobile Alero

Around that time my dad drove a 1999 Oldsmobile 88, it looked like this:

I can’t decide if cars from that era looked cool or not, but they at least had more character than the extremely cookie cutter designs in mid-sized sedans today.
