1. Alabama isn't as dominant as last year, but proved that in their "rebuilding" year, they can still become national champions. They have taken away that bad taste from the 10-3 season, and Saban has proved he can compete for back-to-back titles.

2. LSU is just not the same team without Honey Badger. Last year in games when our offense played like shite, Tyrann would get the ball on a punt and take it to the house. We didn't have that game-changing feature in our ball club this year.

3. Kevin Sumlin is one hell of a coach. He took a talented but untested A&M team to a 10-2 record despite losing the season opener. This team was ready to play and wanted to prove to the world that they belong in the SEC. That they did.

4. Gene Chizik sucks arse. 2010 was all Cam Newton and Gus Malzahan.

5. Derek Dooley had the potential to be a great coach, but it never developed. Don't ask me why he wasn't successful. I think on some part, some of his players didn't like him. I truly thought he would be a great coach.

6. Will Muschamp has inherited Les Miles football. He plays like shite against the bad teams on his schedule, but brings his A-game for the good opponents. He's a great football coach, and I look forward to the LSU- Florida game next year. I predict them to win the East next year.

7. Ole Miss has a good coach in Hugh Freeze. I don't think he's coach of the year, but he has certainly taken this Ole Miss team and improved them a ton. They have a bright future ahead of them.

8. Dan Mullen has trouble winning big games. I wouldn't say it's necessarily his fault though. Everyone sees MSU on their schedule and knows that they need to be on upset alert. They will prepare their hardest for a decent team, and MSU just doesn't have the talent to beat the big name programs.....yet.

9. John L. Smith just sucks

10. This isn't as competitive of a year in college football. I would say that 2011 LSU and 2011 Alabama could beat any team in college football this year. You know it's a down year when Notre Dame is the only undefeated.

So what do you say? Agree with all of it? None of it? Some of it?

Especially with this:

It's amazing how much he did for our team last year. I hate that he threw it all away. It is sickening.

Good report, I concur. I think I will like the Muschamp/Miles series better than Meyer (I really don't like Meyer).

Or more competitive. There's probably 5 or 6 teams just as good as each other and the best may be sitting on the couch this weekend.

I agree with all of it, though I'm puzzled at an LSU fan making sense! What the hell is that all about?

Looking forward to next year, but not before the unfinished business of all of us Beating the Hell Out of non-SEC teams in bowls.
