You live and die by your assistants. Dabo is going to find out what he’s made of. There are a ton of unknowns in the coaching circle. Will be very hard to replace the OC & DCs he had for so long. Gotta give it to CU AD because they at least understood the importance of trying to keep them by paying them what they were owed

Laser focus on the process and eliminating the clutter is also what separates Saban. It's like so fundamental and simple until you actually try to sustain the needed level of attention, commitment and discipline. It really is extraordinary.

We will see how good he is now that he has to go through a typical Saban staff replacement off-season.

Losing a player named Jihaad today may mean retaining dozens at a later date.

Looks like Jimbo is loading up next year’s transfer portal as there is no way all these young men are going to get significant playing time this year.

If they're ready to play they'll play. If not, they'll redshirt.

2019 class

5* Kenyon Green - started every game he's played in
5* DeMarvin Leal - didn't start until the 8th game but logged significant PT by then
4* Baylor Cupp - injury prone. If he doesn't break out in 2022 he never will
4* Dylan Wright - Underused. Now starts for Minnesota
4* Brian Williams - rumor is that he had a career ending injury this offseason. He logged significant PT before then.
4* Demani Richardson - starter since day 1
4* Erick Young - significant PT at nickel
4* Isaiah Spiller - starter since Corbin went down in game 2 of the 2019 season
4* Kam Brown - underperformed when put on the field, transferred to UCLA where he starts
