Why does this bring you comfort? Does this make you feel better about Mateer as a QB? Is it that misery loves company? It feels a little like a pathetic cry for attention.

Arch has a better throwing motion and is a couple of inches taller.
They have similar stats and Mateer won head to head.
Both have not lived up to the hype, Both have not justified the NIL payments.
The back end of the season may provide a bit of separation but right now they are very similar in many ways.

I just posted how same they are. All the pundits talking Arch as a top draft pick yet he is no better or worse than Mateer. And Mateer has sucked.
Your team chose to take Arch. Knowing all the press that comes with that name. So you have to take the heat as he’s been a failure.
Tx was ranked #1 and it was based a lot on Arch. QB is the most important position on the team so pundits were high on him before season and early on.
Your failure is on Arch and Sark. You have probably the most expensive roster (nothing new there, always have) and yet your culture always fails your expectations and hype.
Mateer single handedly gave 2 wins away else we are 6-1. Arch has done same for tx. If either of us had a better QB we both have better records. We could swap QBs and still have same records.

You haven’t won anything of note, outside of the BIG 12, since 2000. You should sit every thread out.

Arch makes me scratch my head because he looks like a 14 year-old,140- pound gummy worm out there in football pants. Standing 6 foot 11, he can still contort himself into a pretzel shape to entertain friends. When he enters the field, he can sling it any distance, and rush through brick walls of defenders like spaghetti, never getting injured. I don't know if he even has a skeleton. His body can flex through any contact and never sustains injuries. Elon is said to be in contact with him for an exclusive crash test dummy role for Tesla and Spacex.
