In the SEC? Or nationwide?
I'm not sure nationwide would be a fair comparison, because due to Title 9 basically every college with an athletics program has a women's basketball program.
ETA: There are 299 d1 baseball programs, and more than 350 d1 women's basketball programs.
There are 1,150 baseball programs at 4-year colleges, and over 1,300 women's basketball programs at 4-year colleges.

We have one already. And a legit title won during the playoffs. Hopefully UGA never makes rings for a phantom championship a la UCF and Auburn.

South Carolina is where they are in WBB because Dawn is a strong recruiter and a good HC.
I can assure you of one thing: LSUWBB is coming up fast. As soon as Kim Mulkey recruits an entire squad, all SEC WBB teams better look out and that includes South Carolina.
