You both sound like 2 bitches.
These tournaments are part of the season and fun for lots of fans and it should be important.
It’s your conference tournament championship. Have some pride man.

if Skenes throws his standard 125 pitch start or if Jay gives that arm a lighter load

Dumb. He hasn’t even touched 120 this year.

Didn’t DVH trot Kopps out several times in a row in the regionals for like 200 pitches in 4 days? Tired his arm out enough to choke against NC State

going off memory I think Skenes two top pitch counts for the season was 116 and 111, everything else has been around 100, so he is nowhere close to being 125 standard pitch count...

I dont see him going past 70, 80 pitches at most, regardless of the inning.

I guarantee you he wont throw 125 though

I love this matchup the second day when everyone is fresh, strict pitch counts with top pitchers and let the chips fall where they may. fun stuff heading into the real games. I really look forward to seeing Skenes pitch again, dude is nails, and our hitters literally won't see a better pitcher the rest of the year most likely. I want to win this one just don't burn arms and pray for no injuries. I have nightmares of a couple years ago when Slavens was on fire and turned his ankle badly trying to beat out a throw on first. UHHHHHHH

It's better to lose and get the frick out of Hoover with no injuries, but it's hard to not want to see your team win.

Agreed

That 1st game did exactly what LSU needed, IMO. Hurd was solid and bullpen gave up 1 run in 3+

If Floyd/Hurd give us 5-7, LSU will be ok

I honestly haven't seen.

What do either of us have to gain honestly? We already won the SEC outright tie with Florida. Let's get home and ready for the regional man!

From two fanbases that "don't care",

I don't care about winning the tournament. But, I do want to beat LSU like a rented mule. After that we can forfeit the next two and rest up for the CWS.

Cheers to no injuries, hog fans

Only outcome I care about. If I was coaching either team nobody is throwing more than 80 pitches.

Ideal scenario for the hogs is to have a lead late in the game then put in one of our freshman pitchers not named wood at gtfo of hoover.

Would be surprised to see anyone go over 80.
