with 100K frothing fans in a stadium. Nor are they welcoming those fans to their cities and campuses. There will also not be any students on the LSU campus including football players. So how do you go a football season without a membership institution? Answer is you don't. And that is just one example. Schools all over the country will not be having students on campus including athletes.
Further the NCAA will be under tremendous pressure as far as recruiting, transfers, etc if they try to have a season. Everybody can't transfer to a tiny, out of he way burg such as Clemson to play their senior season.

It's still March and people are certain about events in September already.
A month ago none of us ever expected to get close to this point.

I know I've said this before, but after this thread it is worth repeating:
It is a fricking travesty you didn't make the SECRant Worst Poster Tournament. I think you had the potential for a deep run.

I seriously doubt there will be fall football.
If they do and require social distancing of 6 feet between fans, Neyland capacity will go from 100K down to about 20K

Would you go sit in a stadium with even the limitations you set? And you still have to brush past them to and from your seat, you probably will have to enter a restroom, stand in line for concessions. It’s just not really feasible under the current guidelines.

Yep.
All SEC teams are afraid (scared) to play LSU this year.

Jim doesn't know why he's right - for him it was a lucky stab but he hit the answer right.
As long as there is any risk at all of spreading the virus and endangering the lives of anyone involved: fans, coaches, players, stadium staff the NCAA can't take the chance. The NFL can't take the chance either.
