Vanderbilt or Kentucky

If you can't beat Vandy you may as well join them.

The important thing to remember is that it really doesn't matter what kind of new "scheme" he plans to employ. Changing the philosophy and scheme isn't going to correct his problem of being a predictable, over-conserative play caller and and even worse developer of talent. Afterall, we're talking about the brilliant offensive mind who had Peyton Hillis, Felix Jones and Darren McFadden while running the wildcat offense and finished 8-5.

That staff does not/will not develop talent at the offensive skill positions. You know the saying about rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic......

A part of me wishes Mullen would take the Miami job so that you could hire Malzahn and he could then proceed to roll Ole Miss in the Egg Bowl for the next couple of years. That would be the ultimate irony for me.

Let Mullen stay at State, let Vandy hire Malzahn, and we can both do it.

These are the types of promises that Nutt makes when his job is in jeopardy. He did it at Arky and now at OM. More of the same from the Snake Oil Salesman.

Aahhhhhgreed. Our playcalling isn't near as good as Oregon's, playmakers aren't as good, and oh yeah, that whole SEC defense thing.

So who would run the offense? You see it's not scheme with Nutt, but rather fear. He doesn't have the guts to play wide open all the time regardless of the circumstances. He might have to accept some responsibility for a poor result, if things go poorly. And he can't share credit, if things go well. You think Nutt would throw deep on 4th and 3 in a big game? I can only recall him throwing on 4th down one time. Against Wisconsin on 4th and 2 he threw an 1 yard out pattern. 1 ferking yard.

There are rumors that Nutt and Ole Miss is looking at a Oregon sty
le offense to fit Randall Mackey and very possibly Barry Brunetti after him. Nothing is official yet but that is the word on the screets.

So, after 15 plus year as a head coach Nutt still is looking for an offensive "identity"? I’m not surprised.

He said Nutt has already committed to that offense and it won't be changing.

Man I bet this thread "worked" better than your Viagra.

Next time how bout you post 5 times in a row? I love and respect your insight. You are such an objective observer and are not emotionally invested in Nutt whatsoever.

Lemme get a round of applause for the best poster on the rant!
