If Trooper Taylor would have been there with one of his towels to offer assistance, maybe they could have saved him. Prayers for all.

Oh that's great news! Give him our best and then kick him in the nuts for us.

Swaim is in our thoughts and prayers. I'm sure he'll be back from ACL surgery after extensive rehabilitation. I've heard Dr. Andrews is a world renowned knee surgeon. He's in good hands.

My wife and I are making our first trip to Tuscaloosa this weekend. We're staying in Bessemer and will drive in Saturday around Noon. I'm trying to decide where to park. How is the walk if we park in the $20 lot by the soccer field? Is there a neighborhood that I'll have better luck with for $20 or $30 and have a shorter walk?
I'm planning on doing the Bryant museum and I'd like to walk by Foster auditorium also. Planning on doing Dreamland for lunch. Pretty excited about the trip... Except for the arse kicking that's going to be inflicted on us. Thanks for any info you guys can give.

Bama - Can I have board access?

My wife and I are coming to Tuscaloosa next weekend and I have a couple of questions for the Tuscaloosa thread. Thanks.
re: Ole Miss hires Hugh Freeze

Nafoom has been in meltdown mode today. They believed ole' Arch had a shot to bring in Tony Dungy. That's right his name kept coming up as a possibility over there. They at least thought Mike Leach was walking through the door. The rest of the sports world knew that even Larry Fedora wouldn't get involved in that cluster.
Hugh Freeze...wow!

Roll Damn Tide!! I have a lot more respect for Saban and his program than I have for that weird arse Lester. The guy is one of the weirdest public figures I've ever encountered. He makes Howard Hughes seem normal.
Also, it's always fun to watch the Coonass get worked up when Saban beats them.

Les Miles can't beat Nick Saban two times in the same season. The Fighting Coonass better hope a rematch doesn't happen.

I'm enjoying watching this beatdown. Those fricktards from Auburn ran around like an ADHD kid without their medicine everytime they won a game last year. Guess what, Saban is your daddy again for the forseeable future. He will let you score points only when he decides too.
I hope the Bam's brought plenty of Crimson toilet paper to roll Updyke's corner.

re: Hanagrif reported on post game show he had first hand info Petrino
Posted by VBHogman on 11/25/11 at 8:27 pm
Hey, just give us some time guys. We're doing our best to get Petrino to start eating grass and acting batshit crazy more often. Les Miles sets the standard on how SEC head coaches should conduct themselves.
re: Houston Nutt has been fired

What will the SEC do without the Murray State Mafia entertaining everyone with their horrible play calling, inexplicable recruiting, and nuerotoic press conferences?
It's clearly obvious, but I appreciate the fact that while he is the current coach of Ole Miss, he told all future recruits that the University of Arkansas is a much better program than Ole Miss.

Hey Lanier, Nick Fairley and Trooper Taylor would like a word with you...
re: THIS is a BLATANT hit... & it happened last week with no outcry
Posted by VBHogman on 10/30/11 at 1:13 pm
Yeah, your right. He should have grabbed a first aid kit and a Gideon bible and went back to offer comfort.
He went to the sideline and started getting his arse chewed for it. I'm just glad Troop Taylor isn't on our staff or he would have met him at the hashmark with a chest bump. Much to do over nothing....

According to that guy calling their game last night, if there smart they will keep him.

The kid thought he had caught the ball, put his head down and drilled him. He got up excited about making a great play. It should have been flagged and play on. The ejection was full on retard which is to be expected with any Mark Curles (aka Mr. Florida) call.
This whole righteous indignation schtick coming from people who cheered for players like Nick Fairley and Terrance Cody is the epitome of hypocrisy. Give that false outrage a rest.

We looked sluggish coming off the bye week and Ole Miss played a perfect 1st quarter. Lucky for us, Ole Miss has an over emotional coach with a personality disorder who can't keep a team a focused for longer than a quarter. We'll be fine.
re: Nutt should run score up as payback toward Arkansas' nuts
Posted by VBHogman on 10/21/11 at 7:39 pm
Doyle deserves to be called out for that dumbass, naive article. I'm going to enjoy watching the remaining 15,000 or so Ole Miss fans sit there tomorrow in the 4th quarter realizing how far their football program is from being relevant. Hopefully, a few of them will be the same idiots who chanted "Houston Nutt" when they won in Fayetteville in 2008.
It really has been enjoyable watching exactly what we told those douches would happen to their program come to pass.

That's right. I had forgotten that Trooper taught Cam Newton everything he knew about towel waiving. The Troop's coaching contributions have been invaluable....:wha:

After watching Auburn's WR's suck arse last week, I hope they keep him as WR's coach. His thug arse didn't do any coaching on the sideline. Unless jumping up and down, fist bumping and waving his bath towel counts. His WR's didnt get much help from the Troop.
