"Fair" doesn't happen much in sports. If you are truly the best team you shouldn't have any fear. However, you probably recognize that neither Bama or LSU was so far and away better as to say who is truly the best or else the game wouldn't have gone to OT.
Tell me,how many times has a team from the same division had to beat a team twice.

I pray you didn't read my post, because the alternative explanations for this hot garbage all involve your inability to comprehend my post. I thought it was pretty favorable to the Tide. The BCS series has rules against same division schools playing or same conference teams playing of the title? No? That is what I thought. Bama is in NO for the title because the system is set up for that.
