How is that relevant? The BCS is about getting the two best teams on the field. Not catering to the fairness for the #1 team.

Again, you're making this about LSU. Your point is completely irrelevant in terms of the BCS. The top 2 teams are LSU and BAMA because everybody who was ahead or who would have jumped us has lost.

Fair? The world isn't fair. The bcs system is supposed to put the best two teams against each other. Do you agree that Bama is a legitimate #2?

Good lord Bama fans are insufferable, especially for a team who already lost in their shot at LSU. I still think OSU makes up the ground because voters (especially West Coast and East Coast who hate the SEC) will put them high enough to combine with their computer score assuming they win Bedlam.

if Bama wins, then both teams went 1-1 against eachother and you'll never really have a true champion in people's minds.
Also the "game of the century" was worthless and in fact losing it was actually beneficial.
Bama would only have to beat us once, where we would have to beat yall twice.

You know damn well if Alabama had won 9-6 every poster in this thread with a script A next to their name would say LSU is "butthurt", "you had your chance", tough,etc. Y'all are total hypocrites.

If that us the case then we would have been better off to have lost in Tuscaloosa. Then we could draft/coast behind you into New Orleans.

You're right, I thought GA beat LSU in 03'. I was mistaken, it was UT in 01', LSU lost in regular season and won in SECCG.

I think our players believe they can beat anybody.
Fans just see it as a difficult situation that we had to play you at home, beat you at home, and play one additional game than you to get to the NC.
Meanwhile you are waiting in the wings, getting healthy, and not playing for the SEC Championship.
Then we have to play you again for with much more on the line than the first time we met.
I think this would be the perfect year for a best 2 of 3 scenario. Schedule it one week after the NC game is played. If BAMA wins in New Orleans we play one more. If LSU wins, NC champs!!
