I realize the Bama homers want a shot at the championship, but you not only lost on your home field, but will be sitting at home while LSU plays for the SEC crown. Bama wouldn't be any kind of champion, already lost on their home field, and had to play one less game. It would only make sense to allow a one loss conference champion to play in the game. You Bama fans are something else.

This isn't about you, it's about the BCS. Their job is to put the #1 and #2 team in the game, and LSU and BAMA are clearly 1 and 2.

The goal prior to the beginning of the season is to win the BCSCG on 01/09/12. Just because it may be against AL doesn't change anything. Assuming both teams make it, you both did what you had to do to get there. There would be plenty of teams that would love to change places with you if you can't handle it.

How is it fair that in a evaluating a group of 1 loss teams Alabama is AUTOMATICALLY eliminated ONLY because their loss came to the #1 team who just happens to be the BCS opponent? You realize the basis for LSU's entire argument is that Alabama doesn't deserve #2 because it might inconvenience LSU who is #1? In other words, it wouldn't matter if Alabama's body of work was clearly 2nd best in the country. Anti rematch people are actually arguing that the other 1 loss teams could lose to #297 Northwest Nevada Tech so long as their 1 loss wasn't to #1 LSU. Absurd, ridiculous logic

You think Bama would be clamoring for a rematch in New Orleans with LSU had they beat LSU in overtime in Tuscaloosa? Amazing how the talking heads all said if LSU went in and won it, Bama really didn't have an argument for a rematch...how things change.

This never happened so I'm not sure what point you would be trying to make. Failure. LSU beat UGA twice in 03' and never played them in 07' since they didn't qualify for the championship.
