I’ll be dead honest, Rambo. I’ll call a spade a spade. For example, I know Georgia fans really look at the SEC East and see no competition. Georgia fans pencil UGA into the SEC Championship game preseason. You other SEC East teams pencil them in as well.
But we don’t play like that in the West. Georgia would easily take 2 guaranteed L’s next year if they played in the West. I mean really, who they gonna beat?
I’d add, Mizzou used to take pride in beating Big 12 South teams. That fire is gone. You know damn well the Big 12 South was loaded, and your Big 12 North was weak. Somethings never change, you guys went East!

Jay, Mizzou was one yard and one Stetson Bennett game saving tackle away from knocking off Georgia.
Yeah the West is harder but the last couple seasons I would argue that the East was better. Tennessee went 2-0. Georgia went 2-0. Kentucky went 1-1. Missouri went 1-1. South Carolina went 1-1. Florida went 1-1. Vandy went 0-2.
East won 8 to 6 last year and had the National Champ.

Too early in the thread to be sobering up. Amateur.
Very few Hog fans will claim we "would" win the East in your scenario, but there is zero question that we would have won more games since entering the league if we played in the East. Don't need Hog colored glasses to know the East wasn't as strong overall for many of those years. The East was probably better in the 90s, but the West has been like running a gauntlet since.
We had 3 chances against the East and won zero of them, so no yapping from me there. I am damn glad we played in the West, despite not always enjoying the outcome.

Obviously knowing our recent history against Arkansas I thought it was an asinine statement. I got a little carried away in the thread later on but come on y’all. Lighten up.
Clark being on my side on this one even and that never happens.
