He knows the answer before you ask the question.
It comes with the territory.
I don't like stereotyping him as much as he doesn't like doing it to others.
Anyone that would bother starting this thread to argue in the defense of the official has an agenda.
Ignore him.
He'll end up arrested for child porn.

This is your best insult? Show some imagination and intelligence instead of something so weak.

It just fits your profile.
Run along and play with the other frickwits.

Let's just hope Bama doesn't get screwed on bad replays or misinterputed bogus calls that cost them their next game.......that would be ...er.....rude.

Legit call to be honest. Two things make it so.
1) You don't ever drag a player up, particularly by the leg and jersey, and especially after the official warns you to stop it.
2) LaFell made no major effort to get up from under Bowman. It's stupid, but if he acts like he is struggling to get up, and Bowman isn't moving it forces the ref to call the delay penalty. Since LaFell just sat there, it made it not as big a deal.

if would have definitely been better for Hitt to just do nothing as everyone watched time expire with the PSU player lying on the ground.
I don't fault him as you can only assume the ref was never going to call the delay as we watched him do nothing as ling as he did.

call me crazy (crazy) but i've seen tons of games where players pull opposing players off the pile and never get flagged.

What about the offsides penalty that should have been called against LSU on 3rd and 3 during the GW FG drive? The defensive tackle hit the center before the ball was snapped. Should have been a dead ball penalty and an additional 25 seconds off the clock.

The penalty was pretty much one play in a crappy game for both teams. Had LSU held on to one of 6 potential interceptions thrown by clark the game could have been much different. The penalty at the end didn't assure a loss, didn't take a way a loss. Playing crappy, both teams all game long was much much more important. Neither deserved to win, one had to. LSU played more crappy than PSU.

It's done just for about every fumble in every game.

I may be wrong on this but the guy who was on top of Lafell wasn't even on top of him as the play ended. When the camera is panning away he was on the side of Lafell and was rolling to get on top of him.

I was pulling for LSu during the game so think of this as an objective opinion. The PSU player was being a schmuck. The LSU player was trying to get the play moving forward and the ball to the ref. The call was still the correct call. Players can not pull players around after the whistle.
This post makes absolutely no sense.

B.S. It happens all the time during scrambles for a loose ball when there's a big pileup, and flags are never thrown unless someone retaliates.

true...i've seen it lots of times. and NEVER been called with the game on the line. that was one of MANY bad calls (on both sides) the refs had going. they had no clue what was going on.
