Dooley all but gave up on recruiting.

The jury is still out on Pruitt and his staff. The second half of last year gave a glimmer of what could be.

The SEC just got deeper with UT having a great coaching staff & as we see it's paying off on the recruiting trail. Good thing for them that so many of their fans didn't get their wish by wanting Pruitt fired after the 1-4 start last yr.My UT friends told me after that rough start you can have your coach back to which I said let the season finish out. Patience looks like it may have paid off.Btw I wish he was still our De coordinator.

I couldnt care less what kind of class Tennessee signs. I really hope it's a good one so that they can eventually give bama a game and make it tougher on them like it is for LSU and Auburn with us playing Florida and Georgia respectively. It would even things out a bit and make things more interesting in the west for sure. In the east, it wouldn't simply be a Florida-georgia rsce for the title like it has been for the longest now. I wouldn't mind LSU playing Tennessee in ATL this season. That would be fun. We are getting tired of kicking the dog shite out of uga everytime we play them anyway. It's time for another team to rise up out of the east. Georgia has proven time and time again that they just aren't a worthy adversary for the LSUs and bamas or the sec west.

Is that a joke? The Vols had to score 14 in the 4th quarter to barely beat a team that averaged #50 in recruiting the past 4 years. To think that after such an abysmal show that it's a 'glimmer of what could be' to barely beat the Indianas of college football then holy hell Tennessee fans have even worse expectations than I thought.
