Well lets see, in 2006 we were 1 win away from locking Tim Tebow and Florida out of the National Title game and playing Ohio State for a National Title with Petrino. In 2004 we had 1 loss and that was to Miami by 3 points. From 1998 - 2006 we always had winning seasons and never missed a bowl game. So yeah with the exception of the Kragthorpe years (07-09) we've been pretty good thank you.

They were in C-USA not long ago and now think they are some kind of powerhouse because the were in the Big East a few years and are now going to the all powerful ACC.

Conference USA and the Big East are not the barometers of success you think they are.

And what conference(s) were you playing in at this time? Ole Miss could have gone undefeated with some of your schedules.

You haven't answered a plethora of mine. And I don't need a "study" to know what I've seen since I've lived in Louisville for 30 years.

Yeah that 2004 Ole Miss would've played Miami to 3 points (we had a great chance to win, unfortunately there was a punt returner by the name of Devin Hester, maybe you've heard of him) and beaten a top 10 ranked Boise State team.

The only Ole Miss teams that have been worth anything since I was born was the 2002 team with Eli Manning and the 2008 team. Besides those 2 years we would've beaten little Ole Miss every year this century. And at least we haven't lost to a team the likes of Jacksonville State this century.

What's going to be hilarious is when they move to the ACC and get their shite pushed in by one of the lower tiered BCS conferences.

They barely beat North Carolina last season with one of their "best teams in history". They didn't even win the ACC or make it to the ACC Championship Game.

If we want to start talking about one game making a football program there are a WHOLE LOT of games in Louisville Football history that says they're not much of one.

Okay so it's official, BluegrassBelle thinks she knows better than two scientific studies. So you admit you can't provide any concrete evidence that the city of Louisville is 50-50?

Newsflash BluegrassBelle, I lived in Louisville for 20 years myself, and the rest of my family still lives in Louisville so I think I know a thing or two on the topic as well.

That Ole Miss team also beat a top 25 SEC team on the road and had LSU beat in Tiger Stadium before giving up the lead late. So yeah, Ole Miss would have played a shitty Miami team close and beaten a Mountain West team that year.

If a Boise team that had beaten only those schools is a signature win in the last decade then that's pretty sad.

A Bluegrass Poll in Louisville's local rag =/= "scientific study"

Anyone who has been to Louisville and stayed there an extended time can tell you that there's as many UK fans as there is UofL fans. I don't need a "scientific study" to tell you there's more Ole Miss fans in Oxford, MS and up around Memphis. That there are more Georgia fans in Atlanta then Georgia Tech fans. Come the frick on.

Ole Miss Record this century:

2000 - 7 - 5
2001 - 7 - 4
2002 - 7 - 6
2003 - 10 - 3
2004 - 4 - 7
2005 - 3 - 8
2006 - 4 - 8
2007 - 3 - 9
2008 - 9 - 4
2009 - 9 - 4
2010 - 4 - 8
2011 - 2 - 10
2012 - 7 - 6

Yep I'm really scared of that Ole Miss powerhouse football program. So essentially you've had 3 good year, 2003, 2008 and 2009. From what I see on record, we beat you in 2000, 2001 and 2002. You all win in 2003. We win in 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007. You all win in 2008 and 2009 and we win the last 2 years. That makes us 9 - 3 against you all in that period, yep not too bad.

You played in C-USA and the Big fricking East while we were playing in the best conference in the country the whole time. If you think you guys would have a winning record against us based off of our records, then you're a fricking idiot.

Again BluegrassBelle I think I'll take a scientific study over your biased word any day. I lived in Louisville and know without a single doubt in my mind that you are completely wrong and full of shite. I don't need scientific studies to back it up either. The fact is the city of Louisville is around 60% UofL, 30% UK and 10% other, and that doesn't count all the UofL fans in Southern Indiana.
