Are we talking about MBA? Or business major? Because Vanderbilt doesn't have a business major from what I remember.
Good catch, you are exactly right.
Reading the fine print on US News, the numbers in OP are for grad school.
So now, add $32k a year difference in 4 years of undergrad to two years of a $35k difference.
4 years of undergrad and 2 years in biz school = $198,000 more money to go to vandy... for a $16k pay increase.
SUPER BUM DEAL

Vanderbilt University (Peabody) is a Top 5 school in the USA
The Peabody College of Education and Human Development offers hands-on education in more than a dozen areas for graduate and professional students. There are more than 15 areas to specialize in, including Reading Education and Human Development Counseling. Students can earn degrees in select fields part time. Undergraduates at Vanderbilt can complete an advanced degree quickly, with one-year master’s programs in areas like Behavior Analysis and Organizational Leadership. Ph.D. students go to school tuition-free for up to five years and can attend the American Education Research Association’s yearly conference for free. Its alumni are more likely to stay in the teaching profession than graduates of many other schools
So my kids educators make less money but remain educators. Seems the value of passion outweighs your simple monetary metrics.

No, shite for brains.
I'm telling you that we can shite talk them on this.
30 years ago, Vandy was a much better school than anyone in the SEC. They are still skating by on that legacy. But the other schools have just about caught up with them. The gap has been closed.
You probably didn't get into Georgia, let alone Vanderbilt, so stfu

UGA is a very good school don't get me wrong. But "Vanderbilt University" on a resume goes WAAAAAAAAY further than any other SEC institution.
