In USCe's defense, it's a great area if you're a hobo looking to hop a train out of town.
Of course, you'd probably get murdered somewhere on Shop Rd before you got there.

I'm just going to take this as pre-game jitters.

Nah man go ahead. Nothing will happen to you except you might get sunburnt.

That's the word on the street.

I'm getting a weird vibe from you today. I think you might be up to something.
Unless you're pushing a stolen shopping buggy, you'd get a hell of a lot worse than a sunburn in that part of town.

Good call.
Kyle Field and the surrounding area are looking great these days.
But that is indeed what William's Brice used to look like. Hell, I get why some LSU fans wouldn't like it. They've only been to Columbia twice since the turn of the century, the last in 2008. They did indeed get the Warehouse Special. But it's a lot different now.

I imagine those trains get pretty congested.

We still haven't had a fraternity go on a run and have someone just happen to fall up and over a wall on a bridge and die.

Janis Joplin taught me this was Baton Rouge and I believe her.

It is a 10 minute drive from the USCe visitor center.
He didn't say 10 mile drive.
I have been many times and its a shithole, but if you can tailgate in a Cock-a-boos then it's slightly better.
Literally nothing around, so you have to haul everything you need in advance.
There is no shade unless you are being blocked by an abandoned building.
A stupid arse rooster crowing on every down along with Sandstorm that has been played out for the last 20 years.
That's all you need to know about going to that game. #dontdoit

That is where I usually park
I haven't been in a couple years but it use to be 20 bucks to park there. At the far end, there is a walk through that will bring to old railroad tracks.

At least our stadium is on campus

The hipsters are doing their best to gentrify the warehouse district, but they have a long way to go. Places like Carolina Walk are more targeted for people like me who use them for business/entertaining purposes or folks wealthy enough to have a really expensive tailgate spot. Columbia has some real issues with traffic due, in part to the growth of USC, all the new apartments, and the inability of planners to have their dream of a walkable campus. The bike paths are not gonna fix it. It s what it is... your stadium is off campus in a shitty area. You have some great fans, but you also have vile rednecks. Your traditions include getting way too excited for first downs, waving towels to gay club music, and never winning an SEC Championship. We made your last coach quit and are recruiting at a level far above where you are... Our School is better, our stadium is better, and our team is better. This should all be common knowledge. I’m not sure why y’all get fussy every year and try to be something you are not. Be proud of your goatee. Be proud of your terrible stadium that is so fricking hot, that taking off your shirt and dancing to gay club music almost makes sense. Lastly, as a founding member of the SEC, winner of numerous SEC Championships, top 20 in “book lernin”, and most importantly a University that didn’t house Yankee troops after shutting down... we say, thank you for joining the SEC and please know your place.
