Would anyone be opposed to a four team playoff after the season between the CFP champ, the FCS champ, the Division II champ, and one at large team? This season it would be Bama, North Dakota State, Texas A&M Commerce, and UCF as the at large bid. I think this would be pretty entertaining, what do y’all think? I believe it would prove the true victor of college football.

Bamas walk-on and Scout team could probably win that one.

So, essentially, the CFP champion has to, potentially, play against the best of the best of the cupcake league?

The same teams who take a paycheck, come to your stadium, get their doors blown off but injure your team in the process out of spite? Except the very best of them?

Yeah, I can see that going over well.

First round: Alabama vs. Texas A&M Commerce

It would be entertaining in the same way watching the Golden State Warriors play a high school basketball team would be entertaining.

They divide up the divisions for a reason.

Anything LSU fans can come up with to hang their hopes that Bama can lose.

I really don't feel like that and there are others so don't be thinking you know what people think.

No need to get defensive.

I'm not. I still have the utmost respect for Saban and the Bama program. It is a game, is it not. Yep, I like to win but it's not the end of the world to lose to a better team.

Let's add all the State high school top division champs, and the JUCO champs...

Good god, this is just about the most ridiculous thing I've seen posted, and that is saying a lot for the rant. Really? Alabama vs North Dakota State? Really? Are you trying to get someone seriously hurt for life?

I wish course in Logic was still a requirement for basic curriculums.

Never really thought the same thoughts as you, dave...
Doubt anyone else has either... Could be because most people think it's asinine to think asinine thoughts.
That's what I think.

I think if the playoffs are expanded, lsu should drop into the group of 5, probably win it 2 out of 5 years, get to the playofffs, well ok you’ll get smoked in the playoff but at least you’re there.
