You don't break up the Texas vs. OU rivalry, especially since regionally so close to each other.

There will still be 1-2 permanent games IMO. Too many historical SEC games to ditch rival games.

3 pod games+2 permanent rivals+3 or 4 rotating games.

AU/UGA isn’t going to want to break up their game
Bama/TN isn’t going to want to break up their game
LSU/Ark isn’t going to want to break up their game
LSU/OM isn’t going to want to break up their game
MSU/OM isn’t going to want to break up their game
aTm/Ark isn’t going to want to break up their game
Bama/LSU isn’t going to want to break up their game

There will be concessions…but most rival type games that go back 20+ years will likely be kept.

You keep pushing this weak arse southwest division because you’re tired of Alabama kicking LSU ‘s arse every year but it’s never going to happen.

It will probably be a stipulation aTm has to not play them every year and the sec will accommodate just to make them feel like they win in something in all of this. Maybe it will shut them up. Just give them their crumbs.

That’s a lot of words to tell us all you’re afraid of Aggie in sports

As an LSU fan, I think the one that is the most sentimental for us is Ole Miss. We have played them every year since 1945. Even though the games have been lopsided in recent years, it wouldn’t feel like SEC football without playing Ole Miss..

Same for Mississippi State. With the exception of 1943, we have played them every year since 1926.

Some fans are hoping for the easiest possible pod to win. I'd like a pod with Texas, Oklahoma, LSU, and A&M.

Now we're talking. An Ag who's ready to jump right in with the big boys. How refreshing!

I've floated the idea of 1 permanent rivalry game outside of your division.

LSU vs. Aggies annually is good for me...

I would love to open the season with you guys.
