Thank you Mr. Rummy. My fellow ranters the State of Alabama Football is strong. The Crimson Tide still has a legit chance of securing a 10 win season and in doing so will have won 36 games in the past 3 years. The opportunities for next year prove to be very exciting relative to the players we have returning as well as the incoming freshman who will be on campus. Indications point to Julio Jones return to the University and rising star DeAndrew White should emerge as a talented star at the receiver position. Trent Richardson and Eddie Lacy will return at the running back spots and there is still some hope amongst the Bama faithful that Heisman trophy winner Mark Ingram will grace Bryant-Denny for a 4th year. The offensive line should be alot stronger next season and will greatly benefit from the continuity that playing alongside one another during the 2010 campaign benefited. AJ McCarron will by all accounts man the QB position and many Tide fans are looking forward to his "gunslinger" style approach. The defense will return a host of starters and Mark Barron is likely to be amongst them after suffering a season ending injury in the Iron Bowl. The secondary in particular should be more competitive in the 2011 season and allow the front seven more opportunities to apply pressure. The kicking game looks also to improve as both kickers return along with the punter. Roll Tide and we'll see you in 2011!

This is the SEC Rant... you've been freed from Tidefans... that means you no longer have to pump sunshine up Bama's arse in order to stay around.

Are you an alter/troll or not? I thought you were banned. Have you and Norantable ever been seen in the same place at the same time?

We are 9-3 when rebuilding an entire defense and almost half an OL.

Should we have won more games sure. IMO the only game we should have lost is against USC and possibly LSU. If Arkansas had the running game, we'd been toast.

We still have a very strong program. Love the way it is headed. Roll Tide!

Pendry,Sunseri, and McElwain are the best assistants on the Bama staff in that order. You could do a whole lot worse.

here's what i don't get..

Bama fans hate McElwain because he seems to like to air it out and not stick with what gave them success (pounding the rock) yet they're happy that they'll have a 'gunslinger' at QB?

What exactly does smart do? He's not in charge of the defense

No we hate throwing down the line of scrimmage and having zero vertical passing attack when we have Julio and Maze

If you'll recall.. last season you threw the ball quite a bit down field. Remember that was one of Gmacs strengths..?

Unless he's regressing like the LSU Qbs

~35 points a game is 35 points a game. I'd love for McElwain to come to LSU, we'd be unstoppable.
